KWS is versatile. Rock, yes, but he also gets a lot of play on XM Bluesville. SRV influence, yes. ZZ Top influence, yes. But listen to the whole catalog. More electric blues than anything else.

@jarmst6669 Because Roadrunner as a business need to survive. They do that by diversifying into other rock scenes such as the Blues/Rock. The blues/rock scene is really starting to take off again with guys like Joe Bonamassa, Philip Sayce, Ansleys Lister, Joanne Shaw Taylor. So obviously Roadrunner think they can get a piece of the action. simples really.

@Karred2 totally agree, its like it doesn't have good dynamics......to me it felt like the chorus should come in stronger, more distortion on the guitar, maybe maybe the vocals should me a tat bit stronger/more aggressive, but you are right, it does have everything a good rock song needs.......it just doesn't get that spark

Wow, a straight-up rock band which actually *rocks!* Two problems though: 1. The mixing is just awful, you can hear three parts - lead guitar, vocals, and rhythm guitar. hell, you can hardly hear the DRUMS, and I didn't even realize there was a keyboard part until they raised his levels for his solo. 2. Half of the time the guitar and bass are obviously unplugged, because they show that there aren't any cables plugged into them.... at least pretend that they're actually playing the song.
