All nutnfancy means is if people are going to talk down about a firearm or spread rumours, at least present some proof that you OWN one. Unless you do so, you may as well be a gunless call of duty fan who doesn't like the M4 because it takes more bullets to kill with than with an M16 or some crap like that. Nice Glock by the way, I like the customizations. I don't own one, so I'm not going to comment on it's performance. I own an M1 Garand and M1911A1 however, and I can tell ya they ROCK! :)

The Glock is a great gun man! It's a gun that has grown on me over time because the things a flat out beast and never fails.

I heard about the Glock's unstopablness. Sounds like the pistol version of an AK lol Then there's all those torture test videos, some multiple videos long, and one where it was buried for a few years, taken out, and functioned flawlessly! M1911A1 is also very reliable. To each their own :P
You can take every thing out of the slide of a glock in 10 seconds and all you need is a pen. I take all the firing components out of the slide and soak the entire slide in alcohol for 5 minutes scrub it, wipe off the internal parts with a rag and put them all back in the slide and your good to go =)
That being said I still want a 1911 and would baby it and clean it properly, kinda like how I treat my Beretta. Glocks my beater gun =P
@FireArmsResQ Does the Glock need much lubrication/gun oil? 1911s are often dripping in it (I like a light coating pretty much on all the internals lol) however I've seen a video of a guy drench his Springfield Armory in oil remover, let dry, and then went about firing it flawlessly. Unfortunately it takes some time to do a COMPLETE disassembly with an M1911/A1 but once you understand every little piece of it, I personally find it fun and enjoyable. Basic field strip doesn't take long however.
Glock actually advises against getting oil inside of the slide and keeping the firing pin and every thing else in the slide dry. All it needs is oil on the slide rails and thats it. I've put like 2000 rounds through the thing with 10 different brands of ammo and have gotten 0 failures. I think it's a boring looking gun but it's hard not to like it because it works so damn well.
I basically coat all my guns like how you explained, I have OCD man =P

Modern round, may as well get a modern firearm for it. I've put about 1000 rounds through my Springfield Armory M1911A1 Mil Spec so far with no problems. Used Fiocchi and Wolf, both FMJ RN which is what it was made to use.

But most people just shit and get their info from COD or Counter Strike. I tell the AR guys to prove that their AR is good by first putting up a video, then fire 120 rounds as fast as they can without cutting the film and see how many jams they get. @FireArmsResQ Sweet vette! My 240 puts down 314 on the rear wheels. Talk about heat. I have a 4in down pipe coming off the turbo that goes under my feet and will melt your shoes to the floor. Its not pretty though. I built it for drifting and road racing. You will smoke me taking off lol. I have no power until I hit around 4k rpm's then hold on and try to keep it straight. I don't care to much for all of that anymore but I will always have a love for cars.

I heard about the Glock's unstopablness. Sounds like the pistol version of an AK lol Then there's all those torture test videos, some multiple videos long, and one where it was buried for a few years, taken out, and functioned flawlessly! M1911A1 is also very reliable. To each their own :P

You can take every thing out of the slide of a glock in 10 seconds and all you need is a pen. I take all the firing components out of the slide and soak the entire slide in alcohol for 5 minutes scrub it, wipe off the internal parts with a rag and put them all back in the slide and your good to go =)
That being said I still want a 1911 and would baby it and clean it properly, kinda like how I treat my Beretta. Glocks my beater gun =P

@FireArmsResQ Does the Glock need much lubrication/gun oil? 1911s are often dripping in it (I like a light coating pretty much on all the internals lol) however I've seen a video of a guy drench his Springfield Armory in oil remover, let dry, and then went about firing it flawlessly. Unfortunately it takes some time to do a COMPLETE disassembly with an M1911/A1 but once you understand every little piece of it, I personally find it fun and enjoyable. Basic field strip doesn't take long however.

Glock actually advises against getting oil inside of the slide and keeping the firing pin and every thing else in the slide dry. All it needs is oil on the slide rails and thats it. I've put like 2000 rounds through the thing with 10 different brands of ammo and have gotten 0 failures. I think it's a boring looking gun but it's hard not to like it because it works so damn well.
I basically coat all my guns like how you explained, I have OCD man =P

Modern round, may as well get a modern firearm for it. I've put about 1000 rounds through my Springfield Armory M1911A1 Mil Spec so far with no problems. Used Fiocchi and Wolf, both FMJ RN which is what it was made to use.
Yeah I'm anal about rust too lol Can't stand any metal being dry; take care of your guns, and they'll take care of you, eh ;)

It's all about Armorychannel,Cutlerylover,FPSRussia and the other gun channels that are taking the lions share of the views. look on his channel you can see the last video he uploaded that had over 100k views is 3 months back. I don't think he has to worry about anyone "riding his coat tails" anymore,those days are through.

But most people just shit and get their info from COD or Counter Strike. I tell the AR guys to prove that their AR is good by first putting up a video, then fire 120 rounds as fast as they can without cutting the film and see how many jams they get. Not a single person will do it.

Its not pretty though. I built it for drifting and road racing. You will smoke me taking off lol. I have no power until I hit around 4k rpm's then hold on and try to keep it straight. I don't care to much for all of that anymore but I will always have a love for cars.
