This summer, I spent many time in my horse riding club. Every day, i was riding a poney, Himalaya. I loved jumping with her, she was my favourite one, I knew it. A day, i cried so much. Her owner came and take her away. I couldn't say goodbye, it was to late... I will never forget her, she wasn't mine, but I know what is it when a horse leave you. Never forget & stay strong ! (Sorry for my bad English, I'm from France ;) )

gosh i felt sooooooo bad when katy lost flicka cause i used 2 have a horse named flicka that i had a very speshal bond with but he hurt his leg when we whent out riding & i had 2 give him up 2 a nother famly. it hurt so bad like i had gotten my heart riped out. & when i saw flicka get taken from katy it was that feeling all over agian. gosh but i do just love this vid.
I lost my Mustang mare. It was the hardest experience I've ever had with a horse and I always wondered- could she have been amazing? I never got the chance to see :(

What Hurts The Most is knowing no one is there for you when you cry, when an animal you love is being killed, and you know its for the best.
But what hurts the most for me is knowing that I will never have my own horse, until i inherit the farm, until i can earn my own money, or change the course of my life.

oceanrider06 i am so sorry that you can't find another job. I have a three year old mare buckskin. She is my world! I saved her from starvation. One time someone said that she was the biggest brat in world just like her owner and then she smacked my baby! They had to have four guys pull me off this chick! now I am extremly protective of her. Whenever I can I ride her and sleep in the barn with her.

i used to work on a horse ranch, but it closed down and all the horses i loved are gone now. i used to run in the pastures with them and now i cant find another job with horses. =(

I agree. I live on a cattle property in far north queensland. I train wild horses and every one wants to see it and me in action, but they winge and say it smells when they go near the horses, I have always loved the smell of horses good or bad funny enough I love being dirty along side them and running along with them it makes me feel whole, but some people dont agree well I agree with you.
i agree with you. everyone says that horses smell. but my favorite part of a ranch, is going up to a horse and smelling the sweet scent on their coat. everytime i smell it i remember how much i miss working with them ='(
Totally!!! i love the scent of horses! where i work the horses all have a unique smell! RIP i miss guy rosie and carnival of course i could never forget prince albert! :'( they all passed away! i train and retrain horses, i am currently working with a 2 1/2 year old filly named sassy!! if she ever left me i would flood the world with my tears!!!!
thats sad about the first three but it is good to hear about sassy I would die if I had to give up my absolute baby cimarron he is my world he saved my life when he was six months old and I saved his when he ran into a barb wire fence at two weeks I put myself between him and the fence and tore myself up he got 9one tiny scratch I had pieces embedded in my skin but I love him to death

I only cry on this becuz this reminds me of me and a horse that i know i can ride he's wild btw. And i'm not allowed to ride him becuz he's not my horse and we have a bond too. But the guy thinks becuz he can't ride him that i can't but i was so close he was laying down in the pasture and i sat on his back which no one can do and i wish i would have kicked his side so he would have stood up but i didn't we just slept by eachother all day

i used to lease an old horse... and i know that i didnt own him but the lady that did didnt even love him. i was the only one that he trusted. then one day i came to the ranch and i had a treat for him and he wasnt there. i asked her where he was and she said that he got put down the day before. i cried for five days straight i didnt even come out of my room.
I couldnt leave my horses. for whatever reason, I turned down a place at a top uni because it was too far from my babies. they mean everything to me lol

Katy shouldn't have run off to resuce Flicka when she was supposed to be doing her final exam or snuck out of the house at night to see Flicka behind Rob's back and Rob shouldn't have sold Flicka to Norbert without talking to his family about it first. They where both wrong. There's going to be a sequal to "Flicka". It's called "Flicka 2". There's going to be a new cast and new characters. "Flicka 2" is going to be in theaters everywhere in April 2010.

oceanrider06 i am so sorry that you can't find another job. I have a three year old mare buckskin. She is my world! I saved her from starvation. One time someone said that she was the biggest brat in world just like her owner and then she smacked my baby! They had to have four guys pull me off this chick! now I am extremly protective of her. Whenever I can I ride her and sleep in the barn with her.

i used to work on a horse ranch, but it closed down and all the horses i loved are gone now. i used to run in the pastures with them and now i cant find another job with horses. =(

that is so sad it looks like my dad is really sick at the moment so I might have to give everything I love and dream about for my dads sake but I hope that I wont be away from my babies for too long :-(

I agree. I live on a cattle property in far north queensland. I train wild horses and every one wants to see it and me in action, but they winge and say it smells when they go near the horses, I have always loved the smell of horses good or bad funny enough I love being dirty along side them and running along with them it makes me feel whole, but some people dont agree well I agree with you.

i agree with you. everyone says that horses smell. but my favorite part of a ranch, is going up to a horse and smelling the sweet scent on their coat. everytime i smell it i remember how much i miss working with them ='(

Totally!!! i love the scent of horses! where i work the horses all have a unique smell! RIP i miss guy rosie and carnival of course i could never forget prince albert! :'( they all passed away! i train and retrain horses, i am currently working with a 2 1/2 year old filly named sassy!! if she ever left me i would flood the world with my tears!!!!

thats sad about the first three but it is good to hear about sassy I would die if I had to give up my absolute baby cimarron he is my world he saved my life when he was six months old and I saved his when he ran into a barb wire fence at two weeks I put myself between him and the fence and tore myself up he got 9one tiny scratch I had pieces embedded in my skin but I love him to death

Cant wait to the new one coming out in 2010 - seems like such a long time away :( but i dought it will be as good as this one (2006) My arab's name is also flicka but i raised her from 4 weeks lol so she is far from wild lol I loves this movie so much i cried breathlessly :'( 10/10

I only cry on this becuz this reminds me of me and a horse that i know i can ride he's wild btw. And i'm not allowed to ride him becuz he's not my horse and we have a bond too. But the guy thinks becuz he can't ride him that i can't but i was so close he was laying down in the pasture and i sat on his back which no one can do and i wish i would have kicked his side so he would have stood up but i didn't we just slept by eachother all day

this video made me cry. I LOVE that movie. I don't think i've seen a movie in quite a while that touched my heart the way Flicka did. It's amazing and this video really captured the emotion that was in the film. great job

i used to lease an old horse... and i know that i didnt own him but the lady that did didnt even love him. i was the only one that he trusted. then one day i came to the ranch and i had a treat for him and he wasnt there. i asked her where he was and she said that he got put down the day before. i cried for five days straight i didnt even come out of my room.

I couldnt leave my horses. for whatever reason, I turned down a place at a top uni because it was too far from my babies. they mean everything to me lol

Good job. Katy shouldn't have run off to resuce Flicka when she was supposed to be doing her final exam or snuck out of the house at night to see Flicka behind Rob's back and Rob shouldn't have sold Flicka to Norbert without talking to his family about it first. They where both wrong. There's going to be a sequal to "Flicka". It's called "Flicka 2". There's going to be a new cast and new characters. "Flicka 2" is going to be in theaters everywhere in April 2010.
