how do you do the kick to the face while spinning on the matenbou?? (first hit on rachel at 1:08) i am not an experienced player but i know all of litchi's moves and specials and this one is the only one i don't understand how to do... i can't find a mention of it in the litchi move list on the blazblue wiki either...

@FLASHoverlord you hit 623 D as soon as the kick hits. Moving the staff can cancel one move into another but it no longer works on v1.3.

Gah >_> She really is fun and tricky to play as just member that weilding the staff is for pokes and distace, staff less is how you pull off most of her moves (I discovered the joys of Litchi one night while mashing my way through Valkenhyn one night)

for the astral set up, hitting the astral would have been more easier if you use the kick on the pole stand twice.

@dschiter until someone discovers something hah! I have trouble setting on a main :s I was playing taokaka but the only way to really dish out damage with her was the taunt loop which is not only quite hard for me execution wise, but also pretty boring hah! Apparently that's getting nerfed too, so hopefully she gets more damaging combos or something to make her interesting to me.

Maybe you or someone else can answer me this... I have a hard time doing her 5C JC j.5B j.5C loop when not in the corner. In fact, I haven't been able to do it -once-. It's like I'm a few frames too late after the dash for the 5c...

so I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong before the dash, for example I might be hitting j.5C too fast after the j.5B?

Though I understand explaining a timing with words might be hard hah, if someone has a tip, it would be grealy appreciated!

@dschiter it depends on what direction you press before putting it on the ground. If you do 2D, then D it'll go straight forward on the floor, for example.

i used 2 hav the same problem. jus practice it alooot. focus on the time between dragon1 and dragon2. look at this vid and replay the times n ur head while u practice. like most of her advanced combos, itll vary from character. dont practice on tagar. hiz hitbox iz big and easy 2 hit. try bang or jin.

In the first few seconds, i have problems with the starting combo ( itsuuA> 6323D> haku hatsu> and then i jump onto the staff, but they always wake up a fraction of a sec before i can Ippatsu A). Is there anything u could think of that im doing wrong?

@ertt001 ok do it like this... j.B > jump again and immediately tap j.C > j.C just before landing ( you can mash the second j.C until you get the timing right)

The dialogue was a bit cheesy edited in, but otherwise I think this video will be a good reference for many that don't understand the momentum shifts from CT to CS, nor the structure of reset paths available.
