Its not just the critics asshole. It has no great games whatsoever. Mario Galaxy is the second highest reviewed game of all time (next to Ocarina of Time). PS3 has been generally accepted as a flop. There is no possible way the PS3 can catch up, unless Wii and 360 stop selling systems for like 2 years, which isn't going to happen.
And in case you haven't noticed, developers are beginning to move away from Sony. It is a bitch developing a game for the system (Wii isn't nearly as hard as it seems it would be), Metal Gear Solid is currently in talks of having releases on the 360 and Wii, and according to most of them, the people who work at Sony are just down right assholes, while 360 is nicer, and Nintendo is known for having the most helpful people in the industry.

Ive seen the video gameplay footage for SMG and i dont think picking star with ur wiimote or running away from flying bullets with eyes on a circular platform, killing bosses which take like 2 minutes is better than ff7. SMG is another mario game equiped with motion sensing, gfx and more puzzles(which r easy) Ff7 had a better story (no shit), better characters than fking mario and yes its gameplay is somewhat better compared to SMG. SMG just looks like shit. Critics just smoke crack.

and I've played both games, and I personally think that Final Fantasy 7 may be the most overrated game of all time. I prefer III, VIII, and X and think that they are better games than it. You dumbass. The original Metal Gear and Twin Snakes were each on a Nintendo System. Snake is appearing in Brawl, and they are in talks with Nintendo and Microsoft about future "projects" (aka: Metal Gear Solid). Nintendo was the one who truly made the next gen system. New graphics can only get a system so far, but incredible games make the system, not the graphics.

Thats all Sony fans talk about- The future and the past, but never the present. The past had PS1 and 2 and I had both systems and loved their games. But ps3 isn't the PS2. Blue ray just doesn't have the name that the DVD player had 7 years ago (because a DVD player on a system was GIGANTIC at the time). I didn't say that Galaxy was the 2nd best game of all time, merely the 2nd best reviewed. There are plenty of 2-D games that are better than it, but MGS is a true masterpiece.
And also appart from what ive said, in my other 2 comments posted a few seconds ago, not only are Wii games worth less than a fuck, but Wii's hardware is comparable to 5 years ago. The ps3 just has 100 times more features than WII other than gaming, so if 14 million kids around the world wanted a new console for XMAS, thier parents would OBVIOUSLY but the cheapest and most family friendly SHIT they can buy. Also there is no chance in hell that the 3 mil PS3s sold will catch up with 360's and Wii's 14 million sold. there games are crap, while 360 and Wii is making outstanding games, something which Sony can't comprehend. On the other hand, uncharted: drakes fortune, little big planet(something new), Assasins creed(new), Killzone 2, Warhawk, Ninja gaiden sigma, Wipeout HD, GOW 3, UT3, RFOM, heavenly sword and other just completely flaten those miniclip WII games. MGS4 flatens all WII games just by itself.
motion sensing started on arcade machines, and it went to console machines on the nes (remember the shoot duck thing game?) and the final product a motion sensing controller was made for PS1, get your facts straight, so a "motion sensing controller" was ripped off from the PS1 and not of the wii, do your research before you judge fanboy =)

Sure, the ps3 sold out at launch, but they only had about 400,000 WORLD WIDE while the wii had over a million... and they BOTH sold out, the 360 sold out at launch too, the main differance? how many wii's do you see on ebay compared to ps3's... and of all the ps3's, how many of them had the "red dot and beep of death" similar to the "red ring of death" on the 360.

as for the wii, I think the motion sensing is GREAT and I'm glad sony has pulled it off for the ps3 (the ps1 had a similar (but sucky) controller in that category). These are just facts and I let the facts speak for themselves =)
First off, thank you for not replying with "Fuck you you faggot ass PS3 fanboy" I appreciate it as I wasn't trying to piss anyone off. But I disagree, as both the Playstation and Wii have stated that they are both primarily "gaming" consoles. They just take different approaches. Sony wants to be an all in one media center that fits under your T.V. Nintendo just wants to be a game system, keep it simple, keep it cheap.
Playstation 3 is too expensive not to mention people are resorting criminal behavior to get their hands on it. It's also being sold on Ebay for 3 times it's value. If you really must have it save up your money and be prepared to spend a pretty penny for it. It's much safer than getting jacked for it leaving a store.
You can browse the internet, download music, pics and movies onto it, play dvd and blu ray movies, and play games on it. So I would think 600 bucks would be a deal considering a blu ray player alone can run as much as 2 grand, and the skies the limit for a PC. And the reason you pay 250 for the Wii is it plays games and well, thats about it. A more proper analogy would be the Wii is for children, and the PS3 is for grownups who like to play games too.
And folowing that up with producing "cute" systems and "cute" titles while the Playstation ran away with the market certainly didn't help any. If you did about 5 minutes of research you would realize the PS3 was designed to be an all in one. It's a PC, DVD/Blu Ray player, and a game console all rolled into one.
Yes Infinite, and that would be why Nintendo lost there little empire years ago and has been playing catchup since, or maybe tagging along would be more accurate, as they havn't ever caught up. They made there first mistake years ago when they released the N64, which used outdated, expensive to produce cartridges which sent all of the smaller game developers, and a few larger ones running for the already leading Sony, and there much cheaper cd's.

The games you referenced as "shit" not only sold in record numbers but also received rave reviews from both gamers and critics. People are still playing Halo online, even though it's a "last generation" game released nearly 2 years ago, and even after the release of the next generation 360 a year ago. That speaks 10 times stronger for the greatness of a game than you calling it "shit" because it goes against your rant of Playstation fan boyism.

Sony has proven it's ability to dominate the market so far and has shot down every other systems attempt at dethroning them since the late 90's. Killzone was not crap, just too much for the little ps2 to handle. Most reviews of the game will tell you that, and I played it and thought it potentially a great fuckin game, except for the glitchy fram rate and laggy characters because the system wasn't up to snuff.
It sucks because it ruined that games potential. If that thing had had the clout of what the xbox had behind it, it might have dethroned Halo. It was grittier and more realistic, and damn if those Helghast weren't some of the scariest lookin mo-fo's to ever play an enemy in a video game. Hell of lot scarier than purple aliens in Halo. You got a pretty good impression those guys were there for one reason and that was to wipe your race of the planet.
xbox breaks down it cant read the disc it freezes it was rushed. ps3 waited to see the messups with 360 so they learned they took their time. seriously are u guys that poor to afford $600? so calm the fuck down ps3 is way better then the fuckin wii and the glitchy 360

I bought my ps2 about 6 months after release, and after having moved several times and loaning it to a friend for a week who treated it like a beer coaster, it still works great. Although i have had one friend who had some disc read problems with his after a years or so, but he was the same kid who treated mine like a beer coaster, so he probably caused the problem
well i dont know because mine was treated like that but i have a sony monator for my comp and it keeps going out and a sony comp that the ethernet cables sometings dont detect so i dont know

I'll probably one day own a Wii, but not before I own a PS3. The Wii just strikes me as kind of juvenile, you know, Weeee. At least the Wii has a couple of decent games (and the game of the decade Super Mario Galaxy). 360 and Wii are constantly putting out great titles, while there hasn't been 1 exclusive game for the PS3 that I would consider buying if it came out for the 360 or the Wii. By the way, 360 and Wii have sold OVER 3xs the amount of systems than the PS3, and the Wii was released AFTER the PS3.

Too bad Sony has nothing to back it up now, no good games. All the PS3 is is PS2.5. Its just updated with better graphics and a bluray player. Wii is a total different experience than any other console before it. Its games are at least good, unlike PS3 which doesn't have 1 game worth a fuck. Its not just the critics asshole. It has no great games whatsoever. Mario Galaxy is the second highest reviewed game of all time (next to Ocarina of Time). PS3 has been generally accepted as a flop. There is no possible way the PS3 can catch up, unless Wii and 360 stop selling systems for like 2 years, which isn't going to happen.

It is a bitch developing a game for the system (Wii isn't nearly as hard as it seems it would be), Metal Gear Solid is currently in talks of having releases on the 360 and Wii, and according to most of them, the people who work at Sony are just down right assholes, while 360 is nicer, and Nintendo is known for having the most helpful people in the industry.

Ive seen the video gameplay footage for SMG and i dont think picking star with ur wiimote or running away from flying bullets with eyes on a circular platform, killing bosses which take like 2 minutes is better than ff7. SMG is another mario game equiped with motion sensing, gfx and more puzzles(which r easy) Ff7 had a better story (no shit), better characters than fking mario and yes its gameplay is somewhat better compared to SMG. SMG just looks like shit. Critics just smoke crack.

They are focused solely on the gameplay, and they totally perfected it. And given the artistic design of the Mario franchise, the graphics are truely incredible. There are games which get rated high and still it does not please. Snake is appearing in Brawl, and they are in talks with Nintendo and Microsoft about future "projects" (aka: Metal Gear Solid). Nintendo was the one who truly made the next gen system. Thats all Sony fans talk about- The future and the past, but never the present. The past had PS1 and 2 and I had both systems and loved their games. But ps3 isn't the PS2. Blue ray just doesn't have the name that the DVD player had 7 years ago (because a DVD player on a system was GIGANTIC at the time). motion sensing started on arcade machines, and it went to console machines on the nes (remember the shoot duck thing game?) and the final product a motion sensing controller was made for PS1, get your facts straight, so a "motion sensing controller" was ripped off from the PS1 and not of the wii, do your research before you judge fanboy =)

And as high def equipment drops in price, more people will be obtaining high def Televisions. DVD players get replaced as do PC's. I actually find the thought of having all of them in one little package under my tv a rather great idea. I can just imagine the space I would save not needing a desk for the computer alone.

agree with that man, it's just like the PSP is for the more mature gamer who looks beyond just games, and the DS wich is really just another gameboy with a nice gaming feature (TS.. no not teamspeak >_>)
as for the wii, I think the motion sensing is GREAT and I'm glad sony has pulled it off for the ps3 (the ps1 had a similar (but sucky) controller in that category). These are just facts and I let the facts speak for themselves =)

First off, thank you for not replying with "Fuck you you faggot ass PS3 fanboy" I appreciate it as I wasn't trying to piss anyone off. But I disagree, as both the Playstation and Wii have stated that they are both primarily "gaming" consoles. They just take different approaches. Sony wants to be an all in one media center that fits under your T.V. Nintendo just wants to be a game system, keep it simple, keep it cheap.

Playstation 3 is too expensive not to mention people are resorting criminal behavior to get their hands on it. It's also being sold on Ebay for 3 times it's value. If you really must have it save up your money and be prepared to spend a pretty penny for it. It's much safer than getting jacked for it leaving a store.

You can browse the internet, download music, pics and movies onto it, play dvd and blu ray movies, and play games on it. So I would think 600 bucks would be a deal considering a blu ray player alone can run as much as 2 grand, and the skies the limit for a PC. And the reason you pay 250 for the Wii is it plays games and well, thats about it. A more proper analogy would be the Wii is for children, and the PS3 is for grownups who like to play games too.

And folowing that up with producing "cute" systems and "cute" titles while the Playstation ran away with the market certainly didn't help any. If you did about 5 minutes of research you would realize the PS3 was designed to be an all in one. It's a PC, DVD/Blu Ray player, and a game console all rolled into one.

Yes Infinite, and that would be why Nintendo lost there little empire years ago and has been playing catchup since, or maybe tagging along would be more accurate, as they havn't ever caught up. They made there first mistake years ago when they released the N64, which used outdated, expensive to produce cartridges which sent all of the smaller game developers, and a few larger ones running for the already leading Sony, and there much cheaper cd's.

The games you referenced as "shit" not only sold in record numbers but also received rave reviews from both gamers and critics. People are still playing Halo online, even though it's a "last generation" game released nearly 2 years ago, and even after the release of the next generation 360 a year ago. That speaks 10 times stronger for the greatness of a game than you calling it "shit" because it goes against your rant of Playstation fan boyism.

And before you flip out and start ranting at me, I support the Playstation 3. Sony has proven it's ability to dominate the market so far and has shot down every other systems attempt at dethroning them since the late 90's. I don't think the Wii really poses a serious threat now after releasing another "cute" system that is weaker than it's competition and I think the PS3 will do just fine. Damn near half a million systems already gone from store shelves attests to that.

Killzone was not crap, just too much for the little ps2 to handle. Most reviews of the game will tell you that, and I played it and thought it potentially a great fuckin game, except for the glitchy fram rate and laggy characters because the system wasn't up to snuff.

It sucks because it ruined that games potential. If that thing had had the clout of what the xbox had behind it, it might have dethroned Halo. It was grittier and more realistic, and damn if those Helghast weren't some of the scariest lookin mo-fo's to ever play an enemy in a video game. Hell of lot scarier than purple aliens in Halo. You got a pretty good impression those guys were there for one reason and that was to wipe your race of the planet.

player-Well, you just have bad luck I guess. I bought my ps2 about 6 months after release, and after having moved several times and loaning it to a friend for a week who treated it like a beer coaster, it still works great. Although i have had one friend who had some disc read problems with his after a years or so, but he was the same kid who treated mine like a beer coaster, so he probably caused the problem

oh yes i c, so i guess u don't remember that sony was planin on boomerang controllers which had no motion sensing- it was crap and criticised so they scraped the idea and went along with a 2 generation old playstation 1 controller and stuck motion sensing in coz they had to hav something new now that thers no dualshock!by the way gamecube already has motion sensing.
