THANK YOU for sharing this & bringing back the eeriness I got to enjoy every week when our cable system added WTTV way back in the day. Sammy is even better than I remembered. At the end of one program during the Christmas season the camera closed into that ghostly face while The Great Ghoul wished all his audience would get what they deserved. The way he expressed the sentiment I was praying I wouldn't. :)

One of the few horror hosts who went for spooky over silly, and made it work. That echoing voice makes it that much more effective. Sammy lost the echo sometime soon after this. My guess is they wanted to take the edge off a little.
