My recent sermon has the liquid brown, going clear, then brown again, and finally permanently clear to symbolise the old covenant only temporarily removing sin, then Jesus permanently removing sin.

@ elmaac, sure. The formula is based on the iodine clock reaction, science bob has made a very easy home version (google it)
I used iodine in the large container (about 10ml??) to make it light brown. Then added lots of spray starch, coles brand lemon scent. The spray starch makes it go really dark brown (other laundry starch will turn it blue)
to make it go clear, you just need to add dissolved vitamin C :) easy.
