ok, for everyone wondering about a second season, yes there WAS gonna be one, but tsunami and earthquake ruin it, but..... a little spoiler about it, it has 2 different endings, one with them meeting in real world reincarnated and another one with the main character staying at school to help other find their purpose, 2nd season, was like clannad, about both worlds as alternate ones, that will lead in to a real ending including both endings, nothing else was released about it, sadly :(

God, I cried my eyes out watching this anime! It's an awesome story, it's funny but still deep and even though it's short you really get to know the characters, not to mention that the opening is one of the best I've ever heard! A true masterpiece <3

I don't get this... what was the point in having a life at all if you are just going to forget everything in the end anyway? Everything that they went through is just going to be forgotten, and they will never see eachother again... That is way too sad... Before you say anything, yes I saw the ending clip after the credits, but all it means is that they will see eachother. They still won't remember anything. That is probably the saddest thing of all.

But, they introduced this Angel software that allows you to augment your bodies, and turn dirt into machine guns, and then the room with a dozen computers all using the same computer software to turn the NPCs into shadow monsters. Which actually confused me a bit at the end. I think they all get reincarnated to the real world. Becuase Kanade and Usuru met again at the end.

@godlessandlovingit Well, and you did not get confused about the whole afterlife part? This isn't a realistic anime, just to make that clear. Its obviously supernatural powers there, but you got everything right though :P What was really genius was that indirectly Yuzuru saved Kanade's life by giving his heart when he signed that card allowing her to reincarnate, otherwise she would have been stuck in the afterlife forever.
