Not quite my friend. Fire wire is a long piece of Kevlar that is spun as poi is. Steel wool is exactly what it is, steel wool. I am friends with the Ohio burn unit and I watch them do this on a damn near daily basis. I make LED hula hoops and my friend (which spins fire wire) and I thought of this idea, so we thought it would be cool to incorporate an LED version. So yes I am very aware that this is not "fire wire".
what state do you live in and how much for a set of these?

That is not fire wire... That's just LED. Fire wire is a different concept involving steel wool making a sparkler/firework type effect.
