  • 10 years ago the global scientific community proclaimed that the depletion of Ozone above the Arctic was our number one environmental concern.

Recently NASA indicated that it has increased 17%

Now...when was the last time you...or anyone for that matter saw article or an update..let alone a headline on this?

When was the last time we saw the scientific community comment on THIS issue..??

I guess 17% increase is A OK with everyone!..

What will they think up in another 10 yrs??

  • You Da Man Ken!!!

    I sure do miss you.

  • thnx for the comment, ur slideshow is pretty cool, but just curious, why did you use their stock videos? Why didn't you shoot anything yourself?

  • I don't have a working video camera, right now:( I did manage to find some other public domain footage and use our own new orleans pics. I desperately want a new camera though...hopefully soon!

  • Great job! Way to combined your talents and passion to help get results.

  • This video is ridiculous. You use the common lie that every pseudo-ecological video have, saying things like "polar ice melting" and showing images that are completely natural.

  • I think the point you're missing is the speed & severity these occurences are happening and their impact on our enviroment. I don't think smog, pollution, & greenhouse gases are natural. This is just a way to raise awareness to these potentially harmful byproducts of industry and human consumption.

  • I don´t want to be unrespectful, but what you wrote shows ignorance about the subject, and it´s one of the common errors. Greenhouse gases are natural, and thanks to the greenhouse effect we can live in the earth. I repeat: the images in your video don´t prove anything. Au contraire, It´s shows a lot of ignorance. Sorry, but that´s the truth.

  • In May, when the National Oceanic and Atmospheric "Administration predicted an above average hurricane season, the media reported the announcement with a vigor"(...)"Two months later, with no serious hurricanes yet hitting the mainland, a private forecaster has reduced its tropical storm expectations"

  • ..."might such a revelation once again point to just how difficult it is to predict weather events months away, thereby making it even more preposterous for anthropogenic global warming alarmists to suggest that computer models can actually forecast climate into the mid and latter parts of this century?" (Noel Sheppard)

  • I appreciate you commitment to your view, as misguided as it is...maybe this will help: "Bush administration in stark shift sends climate report to UN detailing specific and far-reaching effects it says global warming will inflict on American environment; US Climate Action Report 2002 for first time blames mostly human actions for recent global warming, singling out burning of fossil fuels as main culprit causing buildup of heat-trapping greenhouse gases in atmosphere;"

  • I do not know anything about weather prediction, nor do I or this video touch upon it. The video does make the connection between Global Warming and more severe weather, which majority of scientists agree with. Thank you for viewing my video--it's great to see such a diversity of opinions being openly expressed.

  • "Greenhouse gases are natural ..."  Well so it the bubonic plague.  The point is that there is TOO MUCH carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere.  Like most problems with the modern industrial world, the primary issues are excessive SCALE and LIMITS.

  • Please, try not to confuss the things. A plague is something that goes against Humans life. Greenhouse gases not only are a natural thing, but they are also indispensable for our life. And the idea that there are "TOO MUCH" carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere is not really proved.

  • Yes, it has been proven that excessive greenhouse gases are warming the planet.  I suggest you read the reports that were reviewed by thousands of climate scientists:

    Ipcc (dot) ch/languageportal/spanishportal (dot) htm

  • Microsquish strikes again.  That should be ipcc ... as in Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

    Got it?

  • Man made CO2= 1/7 of 1/3 of 1% of all the atmosphere in the world! In other words 50 parts per million.

  • Well done!

  • Excellent! Great production values ... great music. Great job!

  • Ken rocks!
