Is this the arcade version or something? How come you can block boss Seth's ultra? I remember being in the same sort of position you were in at 0:38 with a different character, and blocking the Ultra then getting hit anyways.

I was so frustrated trying to defeat Seth on the 'hardest' difficult level with Chun Li. After watching this video, I beat him both times without even coming close to losing. It would probably work only on the worst human players, though ;)

Yes, it is on the hardest difficulty. If one has experienced the frustration after uncountable failures in beating Seth, he/she should know. You know exactly when to trip and when to jump over his damn limbs. Very nice video!

You block by holding the analog opposite of your opponent. If your opponents on the right, hold left, and vice versa.

This video is right on and help me a lot. I totally suck at SF4. I just bought the game 2 days ago. But Seth is completely vulnerable exactly where the video shows. Two vulnerabilities I used to beat him consistently, when he uses the extended arm attack and the sonic boom attack. You merely jump towards him during those attacks and attack him. You have to play defensive, but it completely works.

Thanks a lot, I learned a lot and it saved me a lot of frustration.

yea seth is pretty cheap in arcade mode. I actually made it through the entire arcade on hardest without losing until i got to him then i lost twice and actually had to switch characters to beat him, after looking at videos though it seems the best way to do is to just block alot.

Taunts are great against "very hard" leveled cpus as well. Its the fact that they designed them so that they counter whatever move you do, so either block until u can find him vunerable, or you can even "make them" become vunerable to your attacks by taunting and then immediately blocking.

You can tell that this Seth IS at the hardest difficulty because he DOES counter everything adwrenalyn does. But he/she is good enough to know when to attack him, thus making it look easy :P.

Cool video and all, but could you try this out on any difficulty with only one round selected? I made ease out of Seth with Sakura/Ken/Abel on three rounds setting. Then he just decides to go ape shit on one round settings. Let me know how it goes.

me too I just use today chun li in medium hard take me like 1/2 hour to beat him using all the move and all ultra moves using almost the same tech of jumping but hk and low hk and when seth jump to me after trow me 4 sonic boom use the EX spin bird kick and some EX fireball.

if you are too near him yes he can. Or is other is he will land, shoulder charge, then pick you.If you block the shoulder charge you can time the jump back to avoid him picking you.
