What a lovely song,only heard this for the first time today on youtube,why has no country singer recorded this, like keith Urban,it would be a number 1,nice to see Alison Krauss, my fave female singer on backing vocals on live performance, saw Alison and Union station last year in the uk,also seen Brad Paisley 3 times in the uk,best concerts my wife and i have seen.REAL MUSIC.

Love this song, it makes me think of all the memories I have had in the past with my parents. I am who I am today for the love they gave along with all the great memories. I hold my head up to them, and I miss them so much! Thank you for the awsome song that fit so many people.

I mean I don't listen to the young singers, not the young. I never miss an opportunity to suggest some high quality musicians/bands to listen to.

I didn't know that Alison Krauss was the backup female singer on the last part of this song. Another awesome talent.

So many young are just living their lives in a bubble. They are surrounded by their phones and that's their world. The are too busy checking out what everyone else is checking out to take a different path and hear the real music. In all my listening on YouTube I have heard so many young complain about that their is no good music to listen to anymore calling alot of it garbage. They per chance hear real music on American Idol or here on YouTube by accident. I don't listen to the young either.

For me music will always remind me of the past, of the times I was going through when I heard the songs. Yes, this is such a beautiful song. The first time I heard it I had just learned of Jonathon Young's loss. Every time I listen to it I think of his family & their loss. So you know who Jonathon Young is, he is that cool kick-butt Vampire on Sanctuary. He lost his daughter, his niece and nephew in a fire at their vacation home in Canada. He burnt his hands trying to save them, when the firefighters pulled him back. I can't even begin to image that kind of loss. So heartbreaking.
