Hi i have a psp slim and Spectral Soulson ISO on it

but it runs very slow in battle .... and do i have to turn umd cache on or off to speed it up ? i did both & i havent seen any diffrance do i have to wait orso?? im a bit confused...?? i have CFW 4.011 m33 darkalex help me out please!!!

Why not instead of telling Idea Factory to "Please make More PSP games." Tell them "Please learn how to make a PSP game right." So we don't have to see these ungodly loading times.

The load times in Aedis Eclipse Generation of Chaos (US, 2007) are much shorter and less frequent than Spectral Souls and Generation of Chaos (2006).

Spectral of Souls would be an awesome game I couldn't put down compairable to Disgaea if it didn't have the loading issue.

That is why I copied the game onto my computer, compressed it into a CSO, and put it on my memory card. It loads a lot faster, and it is really fun.

I don't know how to do any of that. Do you need a hacked PSP?

Yes. You would need to mod your PSP to do that.

Usually, when I make CSOs the laod times are almost the same as the UMD itself, a bit faster maybe. Even then I still prefer using CSOs most of the time.

But, ISOs load way faster, I am not sure if I'd play this as a CSO or ISO, I haven't tested either yet.

@millgiass How long are the waiting time? Is it longer than 4 seconds to load one page?

@mark5573 Well the load times are REALLY slow. Thats not the worst part though theres a load time for every single character speaking every line of dialouge. There is a load time for each individual action, like 1 pick move, 2 walk, 3 select attack, 4 attack goes off. FOR EVERY SINGLE characters actions thats 4 load times. And if you string different attacks together theres a load time between each attack. It's real bad... but on my hacked PSP those load times blip by instantly.

@mark5573 Yes slim is faster than the fat. But it still takes forever. Hacked PSP all the way for this game.

and there are even lags when i walk in towns
