I bought the album on the basis of this song. It's a piss-poor album, this being the only decent song on it. The last truely good album they done was You Gotta Go There to Come Back, the last album before Stuart Cable (always in our hearts minds and CD players R.I.P) left. Bring back the edginess and they will be good again!

very average *slow claps* very inconsistent these days I'm afraid. I first saw them back in '98 and can safely say they blew my mind, word gets around is still one of my favourite albums of all time. Then comes performance and cocktails, which is still a good album, but from here , all goes downhill especially lyrically.

totally agree! wga and p&c better lyrics and musically better. great little riffs and chord changes on first two abums. songs like traffic,just looking,pick a part etc make you wanna pick up a guitar and learn the riffs and chord changes. and lyrics like "camping eyes" "hurry up and wait" etc had never been heard before. so i think they have lost that aspect of them but they still are top band in my book.

Cant wait until Nov 17 when the album comes out. I'm a little bit gutted they're not playing the CIA in Cardiff next year. They were incredible in Dec when I went to see them tour "Decade In The Sun". I may have to take the train to the O2 Arena this time :)

Awesome stuff. I love the fact that these guys aren't afraid to change their sound. I'd be bored by now if we got "bartender" in a different version on each release. One of the reasons I found "Pull the Pin" sort of boring.

I love this new song. Phonics have always treaded the fine line between rock and pop, and this is just about the perfect blend. I've heard the rest of the CD has some rockers on it, so nice mix for all.

As a collection of songs, PTP is pretty repetitive sounding. That is what I meant by boring. I love everything the band has done, poppy or rockin. I least like listening to PTP because the groupd of songs as a whole just about all sound the same. Drowning, now that is a brilliant song however...
