@durbanmaroon Well i have a 04 with stock ones on & im slightly nose diving with blocks in the back, and i want to get my front end up higher. It dont have to be sky high but just enough where you can tell a difference by it sittin or driving by. I been wanting to purchase "keys" for the longest time & now im set to do so with a pair in mind but have heard many many different opinions & perspectives on it all. I just want to make the RIGHT CHOICE with good pricing & quality
@PineAppleEx420 Disconnect sway bar, disconnect upper ball joint, unbolt the strut, and remove while pushing down on the lower control arm (necessary for re-install of strut anyway). Reassemble
@durbanmaroon its also a good idea to remove the brackets that hold the brake lines in place. I also did this without completely inbolting the sway bar. (after installing the lift it can be a pain to get back together.
took me about 1.5 hours total. (i had a helper to pry the lower control arm down :) )
@devilnutz911 The kit was an "Auto Spring Kits" kit. I got it off eBay.
My only complaint is that the paint on them was already chipping when I opened the box, so I sprayed them with a can of truck bed liner I had laying around. Other than that, they're good spacers, All steel so it won;t bend or crush.
Only thing I had to cut was the tips of the studs on the strut where the spacer bolts onto it.
@PineAppleEx420 I haven't noticed any ill effects from installing this. Took it in for an alignment the morning after this install, and only the toe needed any adjustment.
@PineAppleEx420 To answer both Qtions, actually they recommend doing so but of course the ONLY other possible CON of installing "keys"/ leveling kit" is alignment shortly after unless your gonna have selective tire wear. Just sayin. Hopefully that helped & DURBANMAROON, i surely hope that didnt mess you up on me responding & adding that extra response. Btw you are right about what you said, hopefully all turned out just fine & all looks GOOD! =)
Can you tell a difference between the stock keys & the aftermarket ones ??

@MrRednek23 The NNBS (2007+) 1500's don't use torsion bars, they switched to a coil-over strut, so it's just a spacer on top of the strut

does a leveling kit affect drivability or handling at all?

Might have to remove this from SQC, because of the gratuitous buttcrack. LOL...
