One of the worst zombie films of all time. George Romero seems to cut his own budget in half with every film he makes. Dont get me wrong, Night of the living dead was good for the era it came out in but Romero needs to retire. Night of the living dead was made with a $6,000 budget and many years later he seems to spend lessmoney for his current films. Hop off of his nuts zombie fans. He cant write, he cant direct, and he sure as hell cant hire half assed actors.

@hablacat there are many possibilities, it just depends on the movie your watching, like hell being to full (lol) people regretting as they die, but.. the one i agree on is the scientific one theory ^^ explained in resident evil, a virus, that reanimates your cells once you've died. so, you have probably 40% of your nerve system working sometimes it's hearing and feeling sometimes it's seeing and hearing, many possibilities. ^^ and whats the most basic need of a human? the need to feed ^^

i love zombie films - george a romero is the master but because of my age i can't appreciate his old films as much as his new ones because of the improved special fx that we have these days - if you saw the remake of Dawn of the Dead before you saw the original you're more thrilled and scared by the remake

Without Romero, of course, there wouldn't BE the Dawn Of The Dead remake and 28 Days Later... George Romero began it all with his Night Of The Living Dead back in 1968. I met him once - - he's a pretty cool guy. I said thank you for scaring the SHIT out of me. He answered "Ooh... sorry!" He's funny too!! heh heh
