  • How about this... What if the speed limit is 45 mph and the driver in front of you is going 25 mph. Then the driver gets mad at you and tries running you off the road for following close. How am i suppose to go any slower????

  • To avoid accidents were supposed to drive 1 car space for every 10 miles per hour behind someone on the roads and highways. Then why is it when I'm going 60 to 65 miles per hour on the highway do other drivers cut in front of me within 1 or 2 car spaces and to add to that they don't even signal their intentions. Most drivers are just assholes and they sometimes deserve to be road raged.

  • If someone is driving to slow in the fast lane, of course you’re going to pass them on the right.

It’s not the passing on the right that should be the issue; it should be people driving slowly in the fast lane.

  • if someones on ur ass for good reason u deserve to be driving into a ditch if u dont make action to move or speed up

  • tnx for the report tom

  • Wtf is this nonsense about feeling safe because of a seat belt and all that other crap? How about being armed and ready to shoot some one if they attempt to harm you?

  • I thought closing the door is not a good idea, because if an accident happens and you stuck inside the car, helpers can't open in from the outside, and maybe you'll be burned in the car, just because of the closed doors.

  • I commute 120 miles a day round trip and run 75 in a 70 on my way home and I am being constantly cut off tailgated and screamed at. Just this morning I was heading to work and right as I got to the back bumper of a Ford Expedition in the right lane he turned his signal on and jumped in front of me and swerved back into his lane and he was running 60-65 in a 70 mph zone he then proceeded to flip me the bird as I passed him and then jumped behind me and ran his pos rich bitch ford up my ass

  • When someone tailgates you, break check them. They normally will go around you after that. If they start raging, call the police and stay in your vehicle. Slow down 15 or 20 miles under the speed limit but don't stop, this will normally delay the person long enough for cops to arrive. It works well because they won't want to leave until they fight you, yet they know if they get out of the car, you are going just a bit too fast for them to run you down on foot. lol... You = +1 :)

  • I drive roughly 5mph or 5-9km/h over the limit and stay in the right hand lane. But when I would like to pass a slower car (Respectfully) There is some IDIOT driving identical speeds to the right hand driver, disallowing anyone to pass. And 10/10 times I GET PISSED. Why do I have road rage? Because of idiots not allowing other vehicles to pass normally.

  • now this is entertainment to our ears

  • honk horn is agressive give me a break.

  • wow,

why are my comments all pending approval what is this kindergarten?

  • And towards the end SUVs. Some, alot of people feel safer in SUVs

  • I have found a way to cure tailgators. Get a windshield washer pump and a small container and some hose. Hook the pump up to a switch in the front and the battery. Route the hose to the back of your car. Pour brake fluid into the container. When some douche is tailgating hit the switch. They wont be able to see anymore after a few seconds and will back off. Plus the brake fluid eats the paint off their car.

  • @MegaMouseSEC yeah good idea. BLind the driver behind you. Thats works about as well as the jerkoffs who use a mirror to deflect headlight beams into your eyes etc. ESP when you aren't even tailgaiting them.

  • @MegaMouseSEC Good job, idiot. Now you got a lawsuit with several witnesses who probably saw you pour that substance on the guy/girl's car and notified the police with your license plate number... but as long as you get some asshole tailgating your ass, it's OK then, right? --___--

  • 0:53 what the fuck happened? funny as hell

  • Putting on a seatbelt over a purse at 1:11.

  • some people are just douches on the road, few yrs ago some bitch about ran me off the road, had a cell phone in one hand a coffee in the other & out of nowhere starts coming over into my lane, didnt even check if it was clear, i slam on my breaks & honk my horn at her, we drive a little further up & get stopped at a light and she sticks her head out the window and starts yelling at me like it was my fault. was all good though, dude next to her flipped her off and called her a bitch on my behalf

  • if someone is tailgating you, get the fuck outa the way. its that simple. dumbass. just because you go 5 over doesnt mean your going fast. i swear some people are too retarded to function

  • @hartmansam

Was this comment directed towards me? If you don't click the 'reply' button, people can't respond. If you actually read my comment, I stay right, so basically I'm ALREADY 'the fuck out of the way'. Yes, some people are too retarded to function, but I think it's those who put their own time and convenience before the safety of others. It's those who can't read and comprehend simple traffic signs and rules.

  • take all the old fucks off the road....

  • I'm tired of being cut off every time there is a car size gap in front of me. What's worse is that some fuckers don't even signal... I get about 5 cutoffs on average between my work and home every day. I swear... the U.S. is getting close to driving like Middle Easterners. Don't believe me... type "Middle Eastern drivers" and see what you find... -_-

  • The problem with North Americans is that they think the road belongs to them when they're driving and because they think like "Me, myself and I", they act like jerks

  • The problem is that Americans are so damn angry all the time. We have no patience for anything or anyone. That or most of us are always late to work all the time. I go the speed limit and everyday everyone around me is going at least 20 M.P.H. over for some reason.

  • Dont forget the last tip (if you can) AVOID DRIVING MINI VANS!! I drive my dads mini van time to time (Pontiac Montana) and I do not like driving it after awhile. Almost every person that gets behind me (I ususally drive 10 over the speed limit) usually tailgates me and gets really annoying. When I drive my truck, like no one gets on my bumper.

  • "Make shure [...] all door are looked."

    Okay. Typical American Paranoia.

    (Okay, i understand that)

But make Shure that your car doors get AUTOMATICLY unlocked if the Airbags are activated.

Or you gonna Burn if you Crash.

  • only people who ride the bus should be allowed road rage.

  • so many miss the point here. how can one justify speeding anyway? if thats the law then all should obey. the ones that dont will be caught by technology when private sub-contracted speed cameras become the norm and its a civilians job to catch as many as they can.

the answer... all persons obey the road laws. if you are going too slow be courteous and let people pass. if you a going too fast eventually you will lose the priviledge of driving and we all will be safer.

  • my mums ex boyfriend got in a fight over a parking space, the only problem was he pushed the guy over and the guy hit his head and died, he is now in prison. seriously all that over a parking space.

  • A railway is very useful- perhaps you all need to look into aquiring some

  • Best thing to do when someone is unnecessarily tailgating you: let off the accelerator, but don't touch the brakes. That'll teach 'em. Works every time!

  • an Autobahn would solve everything.

  • @lilmurfer if we taught people how to use them properly.

  • The biggest mistake to make in drive is to have hard-set rules, such as 5pm over the speed limit. Different lanes have different accepted speed limits at different times of day. Drive in a fashion that is safe but also doesn't cause conflict. If one were to slow down because someone is tailgaiting, you are as bad as the tailgater. Don't tailgate and don't slow down because someone is tailgating. Don't drive in a fashion that purposefully irritates others. The world needs more peacemakers.

  • what is that at 0:56?

  • @Gigglyardo I think it is some sort of navigation device that our ancient ancestors used to use back in the day

  • oh now i kno y that other guy was pissed at me cos i was tailgating him i didnt even know that ppl get upset by that lol

  • @curtisnz THESE PEOPLE ARE SOMETHING ELSE

  • @curtisnz it makes me mad when somone does it cuz if i have to hit the brakes hard cuz of the moron in front of me, ur not gonna have enough time to stop, for me its a safety issue.

  • tailgating=me slowing down

  • @VerdugoCityRider Hahaha. Sometimes I do that too. Especially if it's some yuppie businessman in a Beamer who thinks he's "Mr. Important" or some jerk talking on a cell phone.

  • KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS!! Why is this so difficult to understand?!

  • @Thewestcoastshooter -- 1. Another one is "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT". Regardless what the speed limit is, if you are in the left lane (also known as "the passing lane") and people are passing you on the right, you-are-slower-traffic! You are defying the sole purpose of a "passing lane". In most, if not all dmv books, it states to go the speed limit (provided conditions allow it).

  • @Ricshaught this happens in AZ all the time. Guess what? I can pass you legally on the right and will continue to go about5-10 over the speed limit.

  • @Thewestcoastshooter -- 2. However, if traffic is going faster or slower than the speed limit (this being a condition NOT allowing the speed limit to be driven), it states to go with the flow of traffic, again, even if the speed of traffic is speeding (or going slower than the speed limit in some cases). Not doing this can cause an accident. If it's only one or two cars, merge right and let them go around you.

  • @Thewestcoastshooter -- 3. It's amazing that about 1/3 of drivers don't do this. They do something called "left lane camping". This is largely what triggers road rage in a LOT of people. Another thing is being indecisive - taking FOREVER to change lanes or in a parking lot turning right - WAIT nah they're turning left -no right again..

  • @Thewestcoastshooter -- 4. 3rd is moving into the left lane to make a left hand turn 1.5 miles before the turn while going 35-40 in a 40m.p.h. speed limit WHILE 1/2 OF THE CARS IN THE LEFT (and middle) LANES ARE GOING 43-45 (right hand lane is doing about 40).

  • @Thewestcoastshooter -- 5. If one wants to make a left hand turn doing the speed limit, fine. Just do it closer to you intersection or turn off and take into account how many people there are around you (y'know, people you just got in front of while going 5-10 mph slower than they were.)

  • @Thewestcoastshooter -- People do stupid things. If road rage is all of what was said above (in the video), then every single one of us is the culprit at one time or another.

  • @Ricshaught ITS THE ASSHOLE DRIVERS NOT THE ROAD!

  • Blazer vs Explorer at 0.53 lol Go Blazer!!!!

  • i remember when people were considered crazy if they drive the speed limit, now it seems like people can't even match the speed limit, 35 on a 45 and sometimes 25-30,

just pull of the road if you can't handle it

  • T V Causes rage road and otherwise turn it off .

  • Most roads today are not designed to handle the volume of trafic they have ..We drink energy drinks, starbucks , soda all day long, sleep like crap, and get behind the wheel where the guy in front had the nerve to follow the limit....I"me curious what will happen when they legalize pot....it should be interesting...

  • I drive five mph OVER the limit and STAY RIGHT, and yet I get tailgated every single day - it never fails. It's not very comforting to look in my rear view mirror to find nothing but someone's windshield or front grill. And yet people would think the I am the one being inconsiderate by not speeding 20mph over like every other idiot around me. Driving isn't a right, it's a privilege. There needs to be a mandatory reeducation program in our country, for everyone, regardless of age.

  • @s11881guam

bro you practically read my mind, that is so true, every single driver in the country needs to get reeducated on driving

  • @pmic2011

Glad you see my point of view. By the way, I'm not a 'bro'.

  • @s11881guam Re-education won't stop arrogant bad-tempered drivers using the road.

  • @EssieP

Maybe, maybe not. I'm thinking that with everyone being reeducated, there would be little chance of people using ignorance as an excuse. Consequences could be more strict, perhaps more costly. Most people seem to stop and think when their pocketbooks are being forced open. But I'm dreaming, of course.

  • @s11881guam

I have no idea why so many people gamble with their car insurance rates by going so fast. It's also annoying that there never seems to be any police around when they do it.

  • @s11881guam If you're driving on the highway and someone is tailgating you, you need to leave a 6 second space between you and the car in front of you, so you can stop sooner for the tailgater. Most likely they will pass you. Don't let anyone stay in your blind-sight for an extended period of time or vice versa. They will forget about anyone in their blind-sight if they stay too long. If you follow these rules, there will be more space around you, and you'll feel less stress. Trust me it works.

  • @kehwa I would love to agree with you, but if I leave a 6 second space it will be continually filled by the people in the next lane over. Perhaps you haven't driven in more congested areas that don't allow for these tactics. I've found the best method for a tailgater is to ignore them completely. If you find yourself paying attention to what's behind you, you won't pay attention to what's in front of you. If they rear end you, maintain your calm and call police. It's their fault, not yours.

  • @s11881guam very true words my friend :) i live in the middle east and here tailgating is just a way of life! lol :) its as if no matter how absurdly fast you are driving the person behind simply wants to pass. and the biggest issue here is that people think that they are not tailgating haha. they simply think that its ok if you look in your rear view mirror and only see a windscreen phhh. everyone here tailgates and its turned me more and more aggressive. spray your windshield :) it works!

  • @s11881guam well at least if you ever get rearended, its always the fault of the person behind you

  • @s11881guam you should at LEAST be going 15km/h over....

  • @lingazin

Why? What is the point? If someone doesn't like me doing 5mph (about 8 kph) over the limit while I'm in the right lane or on a residential street, then they can PASS or call the cops to complain. Why should I have to drive even faster over the limit (LIMIT being the key word here) in order to please some uneducated, impatient person behind me?

  • @s11881guam You shouldn't. The left lane is made for the purpose of driving faster. 5mph over the limit is perfectly fine, especially considering you're in the right lane. If I were you, I'd slow down significantly to piss off anyone who's tailgating me.

  • @s11881guam I know what you are saying. A lot of those idiots don't know what a speed limit is.

  • @s11881guam no, a rigorous intelligence test

  • @s11881guam just slow down 10 mph and they'll pass lol

  • @s11881guam I once had a mack truck follow me close with brights on, so I slowed down, he kept it up, and I slowed down, and he kept it up. We ended up going 15MPH on the highway, I was so waiting for a cop to see him riding my ass with high beams on. And to everyone saying I shouldn't have done that, I left the entire left lane open, he never passed me and there was no other traffic out that night, He just didn't want me to see his "How's my driving" sticker.

  • @s11881guam i agree, right now they just take a class and take the test and get there license... which they should take the class and take the test and then the driving test ... but even stupid people can pass the driving test ...they should make it harder / or more intense to the driving test ... like a road course, with wind and water and shitty ass drivers with big ass SUV's ... other than your normal 3 point turn .. Really a 3 point turn ? thats LMFAO

  • i always keep my cool when driving. If i make a mistake i feel like an anxiety attack happens and bad things happen. Its very dangerous to drive and i sometimes make stupid mistakes but i learn from them

  • well i think you have a healthy respect for driving. most americans dont give it a second thought. They just blindly drive without thinking of the destruction that could occur when they or otheres around them screw up on the road. a little fear goes a long way

  • We need to adapt the Japanese way of driving school. First, teach u how to drive a car with auto. trans. After you're very good and familiar with driving, then teach u stickshift.

Then, they rigorously test your driving skills, including hill starts. You roll back once in a stickshift, they FAIL YOU! That's what we should do instead out just handing out driver's licenses out of Cracker Jack Boxes!

  • auto-stick doesnt make accident happen, as nothign to do with it

  • I don't drive aggressively, but if I can use a dinky 140hp 4 banger Dodge to overtake a Chevrolet Caprice V8, 11 V8-powered Caddies, 6 Corvettes, 5 BMWs, an S-Type Jag, and a Maserati Quattroporte GT on the highway, THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR DRIVING AND YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!!!

  • LOL! so the fast lane is for speeding? :P no good sir it is not

  • i agree. i hate that whole thing about pull to the side if you want to drive the speed limit

  • Its call the fast lane or passing lane for a reason. If you are in the fast lane and driving the same speed as a person next to you, then you are slowing progress of others. If you don't want to speed stay out of the fast lane. Not everyone has all day to get places.

  • @harleyirvin

Yes, and if you want to go faster then the limit, don't just tailgate, use the fast lane.

  • Kinda hard when there are slow people in that lane, you tailgate to tell them to move over, and if that dont work then you pull the right a bit so they can see the line of cars behind you so they will pull over.

  • @harleyirvin 1. There's no such thing as a "fast" lane, it's just the passing lane. It's the passing lane, for passing people going WELL under the speed limit. 2.There's always a speed LIMIT in America, which means that you don't have let someone go faster than you if you're going that set limit. Sure, you can do it as a courtesy, but honestly, If they are in a hurry, and because of that they want to go faster than you while you're going the speed limit, that's their fucking problem.

  • I never tailgate (even at red lights) I always leave atleast 1 car space. I always signal. I do however speed (usually on the highway).

I can't stand people who go slow in the fast lane. Usually here in Florida its not a problem, I can go 80-90 on a 65 via the speedlane, but theres always that one person...

  • but see now heres the thing if u leave enough car lenghs like the book says people will jump in fron of you so its a loose losse situation

  • @partyfriek yep

  • what would you do to them if they are driving the speed limit? would you loose control and attack them?

  • Ridiculous!! Your endangering other people on

    t he road also.

  • i cant drive yet but i know ill get road rage allready

  • The best way to deal with a tailgater is to slow down A LOT! It drives them nuts and they pass you. Yes, it irritates them but it's much safer to let them pass you then to speed up because of them riding so close behind you. This way if you ARE rear-ended by them, the damage isn't as bad as it would be if you kept driving faster to get away from them.

  • here's to avoid encountering aggressive driver don't run 30 km/hr in a 50 km/hr speed, meaning don't run too slow. don't cut lane without enough space, signal before changing lane, make your intention clear to other drivers, know where you are going. don't drive slow and looking out street names, that really pisses other drivers, no cellphone, pay attention when waiting for lights to change to green, it really pisses other drivers when it's green already and you're still not moving

  • that wont work even if you go the speed limit you will still get bad drivers slow drivers keep right but doesnt mater if you drive you will run into an aggressive driver you dont even have to drive you could be crossing the street legally and get honked at by a driver that wants to get through right that instance only way to avoid them is not go out side :p

  • @homer30

"signal before changing lane, make your intention clear to other drivers".. I do do this. Other driver just speed up so I can't get in.. The rest of this, I agree with. :)

  • Look at the stupidity of people of average or mediocre intelligence, they're the vast majority of drivers. Then in addition, imagine people of half of that intelligence level driving.

    Need anything else be said?

  • The only thing i hate is when people drive slow in the fast lane or two people drive the same speed on the fast lane that pisses me off so much -.- then they get mad when I speed past them....Valentine 1 has never failed me so I speed at will :D

  • people should just drive faster around me

  • can someone please tell me wat it is with people drag racing you that isso lame i

  • You are probably driving too fast. And people get pissed when you try to push them along at your speed or out of the lane they are in. So they slam the breaks on you.

  • true! why cant they accept that its the law?

  • I've gotta Question What the hell is up with people slamming on brakes in front of a person. For instance I have had two cases where I was driving along and then the dude in front of me slams on brakes out in the middle of nowhere What the hell is up with that can anyone tell me Is it a form of road rage???

  • You were probably following too closely and they wanted to scare you off

ONLY A FOOL BREAKS THE 2 SECOND RULE

  • lol road rage or an insurance scam

  • Nice to see that most people commenting on this video apparently KNOW HOW TO DRIVE...and RECOGNIZE that the REAL threat on the roads are the slow-ass drivers in the fast lanes.

Any of you all creep up behind me in the fast lane? I'm moving the hell over. I'm a big enough man to not need to hold anyone else up to get to where they're going.

By and large, though, you won't need me to move over (LOL). If you're 20 over the limit, though, I'll move over for you!

    Simple grown up COURTESY.

  • Driving 50 in a 60 mph zone is the least considerate! Why should we all have to slow down for you??

  • Some of them, alot of others are just hotheads with a ton of stress that don't know how to control it so they take it out on other citizens with their automobile.

  • I pass on the right side all the time. It's because people on the left side drive under speed limit and don't get over when there is plenty of space for them to drive on. I heard there is going to be a law for slow people driving in left lanes. Also pisses me off when someone eats food or takes care of their kids when driving.

  • I get angry when people drive 15 in a 45, when people turn infront of you with no indicator, or other stupid things like slow down to 25 on a interstate to let people on. But I don't act aggressive at other drivers, I roll the windows up and release in private.

  • The merging gets me. I hate when people who are merging don't speed up to merge. It causes traffic jams at EVERY onramp along the highway...ARRRGGH!!

However, I do what you do...let it out, inside the car.

  • Aggressive driving is smart drivers trying to get by stupid drivers!!

  • the more cars they produce throughout the years the more road rage there will be..

  • @loudLEE420 are you like 90? Only an ignorant 90 year old who hates technology would say something like that lol.

  • They basically say that every driver in NYC, particularly Manhattan, are aggressive drivers. They always tailgate, pass on both sides, cut off very closely, fail to yield right of way to each other and pedestrians, and use their horns excessively. It's all normal for NYC though. I even heard a cabbie yell "learn how to drive old woman" while I was walking by.

  • people getting angry because other traffic is going 2 seconds faster.....BOOOO HOOOO!!!

  • Sounds like me!! LOL!

  • Passing on the right isn't the problem, It's the people who won't get over when there's room. It just clogs up the road.

  • I agree, I wait a few moments if they dont move, signal early and proceed with a pass.

  • Road rage is a good way to release your anger sgainst a careless act done by another driver, or you're having a bad day. It's both. If I'm not in a great mood and a stupid act is being done by another driver, then it's on. I make all kinds of nasty gestures to another driver who likes to be stupid. I lay on the horn to communicate my anger towards a driver who takes too long to react to a green light, especially cutting me off and pulling out. People should pay attention!

  • the video has good advice to avoid road rage but it takes too long. Its easier just to go off. :-}

  • pause at 54 secs

    i like that red chevy

  • No passing on the right is for when it's a single lane but wide, except when making a right turn within 200 feet.

  • passing on the right? is that illegal? i've seen people do it right infront of cops so why does it get people mad?

  • in some states it is. all vehicles are supposed to stay in the right lane unless passing, the left lane is reserved in most states for passing.

  • It is the law and many people do break it up here in Pennsylvania. Theres no way to avoid them without passing on the right, so I just insist on signaling early and proceeding with caution as you pass.

  • Would it be okay to beep at the slow driver in the fast lane?

  • Driving slowly is being significantly under the speed limit. A lot of drivers seem to have this belief that your a nussaince if you are not driving OVER the speed limit. I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THIS! Driving the speed limit in the fast lane is not polite at best but we all have to make a left(or right depending on your country) at one point and we have to get in the fast lane. If anyone is one of thoes led pedal drivers PLEASE call me out cause i have some words for you...

  • YES, IT IS ILLEGAL.

  • people get mad because they're driving too slow in the left lane...and how DARE another driver actually go faster than them going 40 in a 55 in the fast lane?

Seriously, I don't know why passing on the right pisses people off...other than the above explanation. Sucks it's illegal, someone should do something about the nimrods driving too slow in the left...or fast...lane.

  • You've got a damn good point. What should be deemed illegal are people doing 10-15 mph LESS than the posted speed limit in the left lane.

So if you're riding along at the speed limit, and come up on someone going slow in the fast lane, you're supposed to just ride behind them when there's a perfectly good empty lane beside you? Weak.

  • I noticed my slow to moderate driving speed is now relatively faster. People are driving slower! My driving speed was usually about average or maybe only slightly slower than most. Think this has to do with reports during the beginning of July about slower speeds saving gas. I am going between 63 MPH & 71 MPH in a 65 MPH Zone & I am passing people! Just two months ago, all kinds of Yahoos were passing me going @ least 80 MPH! I was going around 73 MPH. Now I am the faster one in the pack!

  • On a 3 Lane Highway / All Traffic going the Same Way: In order for it to be safe to change to the Center Lane, there cannot be cars in the general vicinity 2 lanes over (ie: In the Right Lane). This is a Defensive Driving Technique! Think about it: If there is an Open Space, the Car in the Right Lane could decide to change to the Center Lane @ the same time as the Car in the Left Lane & then. Both use there signals & then: BamMO! Again, I seldom drive in the left lane. Prefer the Center Lane!

  • On the highways, if there are 3 lanes; I usually drive in the middle lane. People are merging in the right lanes & Yes, the Left Lane is for passing. This is the law. Then safety comes First! Sometimes I get in the Left Lane & then it is NOT Safe to change lanes. Sure, If it is safe; I get over. When it is NOT safe to move over & someone tailgates me, Oh well, Guess I am "Inconsiderate", because I do NOT have the slightest regrets for my actions!

  • LOL, numbers 1 and 2 (1:19) relates directly to slow drivers in the passing lane, AKA the LEFT LANE. Tailgating means someone fFAILED to move out of the way. Passing on the right means a left lane driver FAILED to move the hell over!

Agressive drivers aren't the problem: rude, INCONSIDERATE, oblivious drivers holding up people who KNOW how to drive, THESE are the problem people.

  • They had an entertaining Mythbusters on Discovery last night, they showed that angry or agressive driving results in 33% more fuel consumption. Pop in that Indian sitar meditation CD.

  • They made us watch this in Driver's Ed instead of Red Pavement. Except the version that they shown us (as with all of the videos) had a repeating 'news ticker' sound clip in the background.

  • move out of the way and pay attention while driving those are the key things. If everybody did that there would be no roadraging.

  • I agree, if you are in the Left lane, move over when someone comes behind you. If you are in the middle lane and you are coming up to an entrance ramp, let someone move over to let people on the highway. When people put on their signal let them move over. Finally, If two lanes are merging, ALTERNATE, stop being selfish

  • It is getting bad. I had right of way at an intersection but that didn't stop the other driver from getting out of his car and kicking my door. He was looking for a fight. Looked like a skinhead with a goatie. People like this need to know the rest of us won't be intimidated by these POS. If you are involved in such an incident, call the police right away otherwise they won't be able to do anything about it.

  • The NHTSA and the insurance industry have reported that unintended lane change crashes have been the direct cause of 23,000 annual fatalities on U.S. roadways. When drivers signal before making a lane change they give others on the road an extra split second of reaction time to adjust their driving. An extra split second is all that is needed to avoid the swerve that very frequently causes crashes and road run-offs. A person's life can either be saved or lost in just a split second.

  • The sad thing is that when I signal with the INTENTONS to change lanes, everyone ignores it and/or speeds up. I have to cut someone off just to move over.

  • There should be more traffic tickets and other penalties handed out for bad driving!

  • but then all women would have bad driving records

  • The how come (according to police records in Canada) 98% of all traffic convictions are men?

  • alot of people have video cameras in their vehicles or carry a recorder , all can be used in court , leave earlier if i was you

  • hell yeah its getting worse i flipped a guy off for beeping at me while i was waiting for a car to pass, he chased me and got out wanting to fight.

  • That's when you just beep back. People get confused and don't know how to responed when someone beeps at you and you beep back.

  • in raleigh, nc, the highway patrol drive unmarked cars looking for aggressive driving and give people tickets for tailgating and cutting people off. and you can't spot them, they usually drive minivans or vehicles pulling trailers

  • they need to do that here in MO

  • we have unmarked police cars in KC. F150s, vans, and maroon crown victorias, they throw you off

  • From what I'm seeing It's getting worse lately. Not sure why the police aren't doing anything about it. Probably because there are so many people doing it they don't know where to start?

  • "police aren't doing anything about it"

they're too busy with the more serious crimes like not wearing seatbelts

  • Road rage is not a real crime; it should be allowed to blow off some steam that has been building up in you at work

  • yup cuase on the road its completly safe

  • I'm all for blowing off steam, but other people shouldn't be forced to experience that. As long as it doesn't impede on other people, go for it.

  • Road Rage is actually a crime. If you get out of your car in California with a violent intention you can loose your license for a year and many other things such as jail. Same goes for slamming on your brakes with all the cameras today you better be sure before you pull somethin like that. Loose your license for a year for that one too..

  • There's a program for people like you; Anger Management. Seriously though, roade rage is NOT an appropriate way to release steam. Go to the gym or do something that doesn't endanger anybody else.

  • I think that most Americans have a misconception of what "assertive" and what "agressive" means. They are also confused on the difference between being "polite" and "showing weakness", most

Americans see politeness as being weak. Also Americans have a problem with the difference between "the law" and "entitlement".
