huh ? the pedals noisy ? i also have the HD-1, but the cymbals are the most noisy :-) i show this on my HD-1 review :-) the pedals and snarrehead are the most quiet, followed by the 3 gumrubber pads, and like i said, the loudest are the cymbals. i also show how the kit sounds if you turn off the volume from the drums.
yeah, i guess we might be able to swap them for a little better made cymbals, just as long as they have just one trigger, as the hd-1 drumbrain only can handle one trigger per pad.
i got one too and i totally agree, its great but the pads are definitely a bit too noisy. i'd only recommend it if SPACE is a factor. if you have the space, get the td9

I just got this kit tonight,I can't play drums for crap lol yet!
..I think though you could easily switch the drum positions and the connecting plugs to suit what you wan't to do.

I have a Roland HD1, it's a really gread machine, but the pedals are noisy for a bit...
