Dude help me out please i am able to set the resolution but not set it to widescreen !

When i set it to widescreen it comes back to my previous resolution !

Does this only work for the values you have listed? I'm currently playing on a 40in tv (new monitor will be here in about a week..) and all the resolutions are off by a few pixels (I can't see when I write a message). I tried inputting custom values but it reverts back to the lowest resolution. Is there a fix for this?

Hrrrm, are only certain resolutions supported?

I guided my cousin to change it to 1366 x 768 (yes we did the hex values, 556 and 300) and he launched the game, exited the game and went back to regedit, he said it reverted back to the only supported resolution in the ingame settings (1280 x 720)

Any ideas?

@jannepeshov I think 21'' max resolution is 1680 x 1050 (Screenwidth: 690, Screenheight: 41A) . If not , tell me which is your screen resolution and I will calculate it for you. And yes, Screenwidth and screenheight can contain both numbers and letters(A to E), cause it's HEX.

@CyconautiX Open the Calculator. Change the mode to Scientific and then click on Dec . Put the number 1190 and click on Hex . The number you'll receive is Screenwidth. Then click on Dec (again) and put the number 670. Click on Hex and this is your Screenheight..

this is a huge struggle i already fixed. if u have ATI put your desktop resolution to 800x600 then go into ur video card advanced settings then click somewhere in the program maintain aspect ratio. it stets 800x600 to full screen then apply then oput ur desktop to ur normal screen size again and start cs

open your pc calculator and change it to professional calculator. den select "Dec" and write your screen width (e.g. 1400). then select hex and see the number. write this number you got as the width. then repeat it again but now write your screen height (e.g. 1200) and select "hex". you will get the numbers you want to put in regedit..
