Well, as much as I like Bo Bice, and even though I like is taste in music better, the right person won that year. I didn't think so at the time, but look at underwoods debut album:

It has been certified seven times platinum in the U.S. and three times platinum in Canada. It was named the number-one selling album of the year in all genres . Finally, the best selling album by an American Idol alumnus in the United States. The proof is in the pudding. *shrug*

There is no comparison between Bo and Chris. Bo is talent personafied. Chris was just more marketable from a Pop/Rock stand point. Bo has been doing amazingly well on his own and is selling out concerts all over the U.S. They can't book him fast enough. He may not be on the radio but then again neither are several mainstream bands and stars; they are packing the stadium and Bo said from the onset that he will make his money playing live...and he's doing that.
