Hehehe I thought you had to fight this thing alone..... I was lost in the final level so long trying to figure out where to go that I got my whole team to level 76 XD

This was eventually finding it then realizing you needed that final dragon (which I missed) so I had to trek all the way back up to the top and then all the way down again...

Ah well, even fighting it solo its a challenge! Good job!

Oh this fight......! I remember doing Guts at 23 life and it recovered ZERO! By some stroke of luck, Barubary missed his next attack and I recovered full health.

That's pretty epic. I was around level 45 when I did this battle, but I used my whole party, and had everyone in their shaman forms. >.>;

There's a treasure? What is it? Is it worth the trouble?

I kinda wish I hadn't saved after this battle, so I could play through it again.

holy crap! i'm really low lvl, looking at this, for being that far in the game, i thought lvl 42 would be good enough! PFF! WAS I MISTAKEN! but katt with "keep", with rand with his "Shelled beast" jean in his skinny blue fish form with "Chop" it's a nice easy fight... kinda...

lol should have posted a video for it :P. ok when in the area (enter from the north part after fighting barubary, and head east as far as you can, when you cannot move any more, put katt in the front and use her ability, there should be a rock there that you cannot see, remove it and continue on, head east, and when u cannot move, head south until you cannot move, then east, put sten in the lead, use his ability and theres a cliff you cannot see he can reach, treasure is right there.

I did it again 4 years ago.

I wasn't easy : I used twice the gold dragon and a lot of item witch completely healed me. PLus the item witch give 100 AP ( only two in the game ^^)

After the battle, barubary give a tip in order to find a secret treasure...

I didn't find it !

ya, today I was bored so I tried using Ryu to attack as many times as he could and then just use guts when he needed to heal. But, it was easy because his attack "Explosion always did exactly have my remaining HP's worth of damage. And guts heals like all HP. But, it got boring so I gave up after about 2 or 3 hours of endless battle.

@Superduck779 Hahaha! I tried doing this and did over 150,000 HP to the damn boss and finally gave up. Figured it out that I needed that damn dragon to bring the party back! :p

i dont like using dragon transformations, makes the game too easy, only times i used it was in tiga battle, ray battle, and those n riders lol

Heh, I once tried to use dragon transformations against Tiga, but I guess that's a must-lose-battle.

About this fight with Barubary, I also used several times "Guts", but sometimes it didn't restored more than 50 hp, do you know how that ability works? Because I noted that you used some healing items mid-battle.

yes, the guts move increases more health the lower it is, but if i am in a crutch and cannot get enough health from guts, i use a item that will let me endure at least one attack, hopefully low enough health for me to use guts effectively

the lower your health, the more effective it will be

and Tiga CAN be defeated.. he just has more health than any other monster on the game
