@cosminaut1 Sorry didn't respond til now - I didn't receive an interview invitation, so no tips. But they have some great resources on gmatclub.com and if you google it, there are some great resources online. I would say practice makes perfect, so from experience with my other interviews make sure to spend some time practicing with someone. Would be helpful if that person has been through it before. Good luck!
@ellenpjc I was accepted to Stern a while ago, but thanks for your help. I feel bad for you because I honestly thought your essay 3 was a lot better than mine. Maybe they wanted more depth? Here's hoping that you get into the school of your dreams!
@ellenpjc Don't give up! If this year is anything like the last, you might get an invitation in early February. Seems like you've been to a lot of interesting places in NYC.
Thank you very much for your encouraging words. If it is not too much to ask, can you review my essays and make some comments? If you can help me, let me know your email address.
@raj2close Sorry about the delay, I had family in town. Sure I can - give me your email address and I can send you my info. It may take me a bit to get the feedback to you but I'll do it - looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks! I spent quite a bit of time on it so I'm glad someone else was able to enjoy it! I haven't heard from NYU yet... so hopefully they're enjoying the video and they'll send me an interview invitation soon. I've been checking every few hours everyday! It's torturous! Are you applying? Or already a student perhaps?
Great job on essay I must say! I am trying to apply for Round 2. I am trying to Yale, Columbia, Ross & Stern. I haven't finished my essays yet. I won't have time to do a multimedia presentation for essay 3. I will simply use words. Did you apply in Round 1 or 2? I am in technology sector have degrees in engineering, want to go into finance, how about you?
@raj2close Aw thanks! Wow those are great schools - I also applied to those schools among others. I applied Round 1 but haven't heard anything so I'm thinking my chances of getting in are pretty slim. I'm a small business owner in mortgages, and want to expand and grow from there. Sounds like you have a pretty solid foundation for your application! Best of luck with your app!
@ellenpjc You have your own business? Awesome! You must have built a strong story. If you GMAT is reasonable, you should be fine I believe. You have a lot of patience, looking at your presentation, one can tell. I am not going to apply to Stern. I cannot make anything remotely close to what you have done! I am only applying to three schools. I am still struggling with essays. My grades and scores are just OK nothing special. If someone like your profile did not get a call, then I am nothing :-(
@raj2close I do have my own business, but considering the applicant pool I don't think it's standing for much. :) But Raj, be confident in yourself! I'm sure that you're more qualified than you know! My grades admittedly were not spectacular either, but I did do better on my GMATs. But again, no business school is only taking one approach to analyzing an applicant's potential, especially Stern. So you should give it a shot! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for both of us. Best of luck!
love it

Did you get into Stern? I'm applying for next fall. I think your video is cute, esp. the ending.
