I checked out the phone today at AT&T and i left wanting the phone. I was using it for like half an hour and boy isn't the note such a sexy phone. i'm not that tall either and i found it really comfortable to hold with one hand. I recommend the phone to any one this monster phone.

Great phone! The large screen is cool. The battery life is very good too. I guess it's only a matter of time until another company comes along and creates a similar phone with a screen this large and sells it a whole lot cheaper. Best phone out there though at the moment. Love it.

Best phone I've ever owned, best phone I've ever seen. Great review. I recently bought the S Pen Holder Kit. It includes an extra S Pen. Putting the S Pen in the Holder greatly improves my writing and drawing accuracy. Well, worth the investment. Couldn't recommend this phone more!

Don't buy this.

If you wanna buy android then go with an S2 or a G Nexus.

The problem with the note is that it is too small to be a tablet and too large to be a Phone ( you would certainly look stupid holding this thing by your ear). But, if you are a huge man with sausage fingers then you shouldn't have any problem with this.

I should add that someone reported that a green line appeared on the screen of his note and the company refused to fix it. only 1 month of usage! Samsung is still crappy. This is a MAJOR deal breaker.

This is simply the best cell phone ever. Samsung has always been an extremely crappy company. Their products have always been trash. However, they changed something in management and married quality.

Waiting for Verizon to say yes or no on the Note is driving me nuts. If we can't get the note we have to choose between the awful screen on the razr, the dearth of case support and looks of the Spectrum, or the no sd card and half inch of screen space wasted on softbuttons with the Nexus.

The Note is one of the few current phones without a debilitating weakness.

Awesome review. Not really. Pre-ordered it from AT&T given my Dell Streak is dying.

The cudo's don't go to the phone, Lisa get's credit for an awesome review on a weird phone. I got shit for my Dell Streak (what is it? are you compensating for something? ;-) but if you need a big phone... well there you go. The fact that it has a real stylus is great (for like 1000 of us). I can't wait to take design review notes and actually being able to draw, instead of cryptic notes.

A really good review Lisa thanks. Kind of torn between the galaxy nexus and the note. This would be my first venture into a smartphone. It's really to bad the model you have (physical home button) won't be coming to the US market I don't really care for the four capacitive button phones but oh well what can one do. I think I'm going to get this kind of phone after I'm done with mine. I actually really like the size IMHO. It's too big for a phone and too small for a tablet. It's pretty much a hybrid. From my point of view, you are getting the best of both worlds. You don't need a phone and a tablet separately. I think the pen is so cool. I can definitely see myself using it for a lot of productive things. For instance, I could use it to write a grocery list, take notes in school, write a to-do list etc.
