  • Crappiest 2 step I've ever seen. Builds 2 psi? lol

  • u need more gauges.

  • how do i get that

  • my olds intrigue does the same thing..

  • Comment removed

  • that is fucking sick.

  • That's launch control.. Not two-step. There's a difference.

  • @Greddy95GSR It's a 2 step as in a 2 step rev limiter as in a 2nd, lower rev limiter that can be toggled on and off on the fly. Thus, making it a 2 step.

  • @Greddy95GSR Launch control=RPMs held by the ECU.(Smooth hold.)

2 step=Ignition retard to hold the rpms down.(Rough hold of the RPM...Brap brap kinda sound)

    Remember that.

  • @MikeW259 Thank you captain obvious. I know what the two functions are and how they work.

  • @Greddy95GSR Apparently you didn't.

    You're welcome Captain. H.J. Smartass.

  • hey, just curious, what do you pay for insurance?

  • @CASSINOx HAHAAHHA good question buddy. probably too much like the rest of us!

  • hahahaha shits weak

  • that was gay

  • 7 psi = 40hp gain lol

  • @beyond305 This isn't my car and I don't have this kit, but if I'm not mistaken the JWT TT kit will give a Z right around 400whp at 7psi which is an increase of 170whp over the stock number of around 230whp.

  • @KPiersonTec i HIGHLY doubt 7psi will create that much hp. ive seen cars with 15psi not even make 150hp over stock number. come on mannnnn your barely touching the motor with that. how big is the turbo?

  • @beyond305 I found a dyno graph on Google showing 418.2whp at a claimed 6.8psi on a mustang dyno. This is with minor supporting mods (exhaust, intake). No motor work. The JWT TT uses twin Garrett Sport-530 Dual Ceramic Ball-bearing Turbochargers.

  • @KPiersonTec i failed to see that its a TT hahhaha i was thinking single turbo this whole time

  • @beyond305 I have a single turbo on my 350z and make 380whp on 7psi. Thats about 150whp over stock. PSI means nothing without knowing the turbo size and engine size.

  • @beyond305 lmfao

  • 3200 rpm wtf waaaay to low

  • @turbo200sx0007 Take a look at the video again - in front of the car is an air compressor and a tool box. This video was shot inside a garage solely for demo purposes. There was no intent to launch the car - just a video to show that the KPtechnologies 2 step will hold RPM and build boost. I left it up to the owner to set the 2 step at his desired RPM and launch it.

  • @KPiersonTec demo purposes that it can hold 2 pounds of boost??

  • @turbo200sx0007 Yes.

  • @KPiersonTec Some people are just slow is all.

  • @KPiersonTec~ why is it called a TWO step??

  • @marek0086 It's a "two step rev limiter". The first step is the factory rev limiter at 6500rpm (or whatever it is). The second step is programmable inside the KPtechnologies module. When the two step is engaged you can hold the pedal to the floor and the motor will only rev to preset RPM.

  • @KPiersonTec~ i thought antilag was involved with a 2 step system.

  • @marek0086 I've never heard that. Two steps can be used on cars without turbos to provide more consistent launching when drag racing.

  • @KPiersonTec~ u dont know that u can use antilag with launch control??

  • @marek0086 When did we start talking about launch control? We are talking about 2 steps.

  • @KPiersonTec~ 2 step is a type of launch control!

  • This video is about a two step system. A two step system refers to a second rev limiter. It has nothing to do with antilag. Antilag is a completely different concept that is extremely hard on exhaust manifolds and turbos and typically not recommended for street cars. Antilag is more useful for reducing turbo lag between shifts then helping with launch.

  • @KPiersonTec~ antilag is also used for launching. It spools up the turbo so you're on decent boost when u dump the clutch. Its combined with a 2 step.

  • @marek0086 hey, id hate to be a dip shit looser, but my sunfire when in N revs up to 4500RPM and then stops just like this 350z can you explaine why ??, just asking you cuz you seem pretty smart with this stuff, i am to, but not with this

  • @EnergeticAsh if i'm not wrong , thats for prevention for engine damage those that hit the redlines .

Honda's are like that too .

  • @EnergeticAsh It might possibly be a limiter set on the ECU (the car's computer) Just a wild guess. In my RX-8, (very different i know) It has a factory rev limiter at 9000RPM which shuts the engine if i pass it for too long for safety. But in cold weather when the car is not at peak temperature, it stops my revs at 4500RPMS until it heats up.

  • I build about 15psi with 2-step on my GSX lol.. Woo 2psi!

  • @1Speedemon636 Small turbos will do that. Again, this system only builds 7psi max. This is a stock JWT TT kit on a stock bottom end.

  • is that like 2 pounds of boost ?

  • @ryankovacs100 Again, this is with no load at only 3200 RPM on a car that makes 7psi max.

  • 2 pounds of boost is still better than pulling a vacuum though

  • GO.... thats would have been some serious tyre sqauling flame popping action righ there,

i feel u deprived me of a good show.

jokes aside, 1 psi................ info says "Watch as the car builds boost while standing still!" i could fucking blow the turbo with my mouth and make 1psi. would be cheaper too......

  • @vikkiandbradley07 No you couldn't, unless you put your face up to a hot exhaust manifold...

And it's a 2 step under load, anyone with any car knowledge knows that you don't build boost under no load, DUMBASS.

also VQ motors don't like much over 6-7lb. without getting into rebuilding the bottom end, even still, you're looking at a 350-400whp build generically with that boost and minimal supporting mods (exhaust, fuel, drivetrain, small amount of headwork).

Stop talking shit, you suck at it.

  • show it on the track i can make a lawnmover sound like it wants go... but show us ...

    cool if it works ;)

  • its only building 2 pounds of boost, how does that help

  • @tomjw7 The RPM setting is fully programmable. We set it low (3200 rpm) for testing and for this video. I believe max boost on this car was only 7-8lbs anyway - the stock VQ35DE doesn't like much boost.

  • @KPiersonTec what do u see to the wheels at 8 pounds

  • @tomjw7 It's not my car in the video, but common whp for a setup like that is right around 380-400whp.

  • @KPiersonTec ha yeah right

  • @cbeck611 it gets the turbos spooled up so you dont have as much lag when you launch the car but in this case its only making like two pounds so dont really see that much of a point

  • @CTT350Z i think it said 13.2 psi not 2

  • @patf03 that was the air fuel ratio gauge bro

  • @patf03 that was the air-fuel ratio guy

  • fucking sick...you should launch it

  • boost! is good! haha try brake boosting from a roll... its like launching the car haha....

  • Ya and if you do it enough it will fuck your brakes up.

  • @Viking445 thats why you get the warrenty brakes from les schuabe. lol. ya they wear out in half the life time but they cant say shit even if your car is highly modded. brakes are brakes. lol
