This was killing me watching this. My graanfathers health was slowly depleating and going down hill. He smoked ever since he was 12 and smoked 2 packs a day for i dont know how long and he got so sick and i miss him so much. Thats a reason why i will never smoke a cigarette in my life. I saw someone i love slowely die from self destruction, and that was excrutiating pain for myy family. I never want anyone to feel like that because of me.

My dad used to smoke. He would never do it around me or my brother.He said he had his first cigarette when he was 10. When I was 4 I took a pack of his cigarettes stomped on them and hid them in my barbie doll house. When he found them he wasn't upset he just smiled. A few weeks later he stopped smoking. When I was 7 I found out he was smoking behind my back. Now I'm 13 he hasn't touched one since. He always says how much he regrets starting because it gave him back problems and aged him a lot.
All those people below who said smoking makes a person look hot/cool need to get popped in their mouths.
If you're courteous enough to smoke outside and away from people, I won't bitch at you about your own self-destructive habits. I must admit though, that I lost a lot of respect for Matt as a person after seeing this.

My dad used to smoke. He would never do it around me or my brother.He said he had his first cigarette when he was 10. When I was 4 I took a pack of his cigarettes stomped on them and hid them in my barbie doll house. When he found them he wasn't upset he just smiled. A few weeks later he stopped smoking. When I was 7 I found out he was smoking behind my back. Now I'm 13 he hasn't touched one since. He always says how much he regrets starting because it gave him back problems and aged him a lot.

All those people below who said smoking makes a person look hot/cool need to get popped in their mouths.
If you're courteous enough to smoke outside and away from people, I won't bitch at you about your own self-destructive habits. I must admit though, that I lost a lot of respect for Matt as a person after seeing this.
It doesn't make him any less of an actor. It doesn't make him any less funny or adorable/sexy when he wants to be. It doesn't mean I'll stop watching his videos. Its just gross.

as long as the indulgence is controlled, its fine by me... theres a difference between that and addiction. and here i can see how u enjoy that one cigerette, not as an addict or to pass the time.

I don't like people when they smoke. Though I admit it adds to the appeal if it's a hot guy (such as this one up here ♥).
But I don't think I could totally "love" someone who smokes, if I would, I'd ask them to stop, just because it's bad for their health and hygiene.
But it's complicated as well, because it is their life, and they should be able to do what they want.

I wish you did'nt smoke, both of my parents smoke and my dads an alcoholic, so you can see how I hate drugs soo so much... I don't think any less of you, but it's a shame how addictive smoking is. I'm glad your true to your fans and that you trust us enough to tell us about this...
I know its hard to quit, I have seen the stuggle of those around me...

Personally, I wish you didn't smoke. My dad quit a little under seven months ago, and I was real glad he did. My grandma is dying from smoking of Emphysema, and my mom lost just about everyone on her side of the family from smoking related deaths. But, it's your life, and if you wanna smoke it away, then it's okay. Your life, your body.

Smoking really is nasty but sometimes we don't have the will to stop. I don't anyways.
Everytime I smoke, I cringe and I hate the taste. I hate the smell, it's the nicotine high that I get. I relax, I calm down. That's why I'm hooked. This song, it has the similar effects to the mind. You drown in the sound.
My views on Swifty have not changed at all. It just shows that he's human just like the rest of us. Humans get hooked on anything that calms us in our stressed lives.

I think it's cool that you are honest with your veiwers, it's your choice to smoke or not to smoke. I, myself, am a smoker. It's a horrible habit, and everyone makes a point to tell me every other time I light up. But it's my choice, just as it is your choice. I hope, however, that your viewers don't choose to start smoking because you do, because it's not something you should do to make yourself more like someone else.

He was sexy before the cigarette even touched his lips, hell even before he picked it up!! You shouldn't associate a bad habit with something that makes a person "sexy". I wish of course he didn't smoke, but it's not my choice it's his. He states in the description he is aware of some of the health problems associated with smoking. Anyways I liked the song, and I liked how serious he looked. Made him seem like he was a completely different person.

I love the buzz I get from smoking but I'd hate to get addicted. Right now I think I'd actually pass out from a full one so I just have a few drags every now and then but I love the feeling I get from them :D

Ive seen him do 24 hour live BlogTV shows without him smoking, something hard for a smoker to do. I think he might have quit and restarted because of the guilt in his eyes. Bit the way he inhales and handles the ciggerate makes him look like a real smoker
