  • Love your videos. Thanks for making them!

  • Ahhh the irony of the last line. They ,who ever they are, clearly didn't have Lt. Cmdr Eric Ashley-Pitt with them.

  • You are so good at putting together these things--ever thought of putting a vid of Illya together with "I'm Holding Out For A Hero"? He sure fits the part for me!

totally swooning for Illya since I was 7 yrs. old

  • i carnt beleve this is duky from NCIS! hes sooooo cool.

  • *Squees happily*

I just love this video, always makes me smile no matter how many times I've seen it.:D

  • Ah, what a wonderful vid - still makes me squee even after the millionth watch. This slashy muncle fangirl salutes you!

Just a quick question from one Mccallum fan to another - Illya or Steel?!

  • @thekuryakinaffair Both of them!

  • Wondermous! It makes my heart go pitter pat everytime!

  • Another winner. Your vids are such fast and furious fun.

  • Thanks so much for this fun clip. DMC will always have my heart, but Robert Vaughn's smile at 0:27- swoonworthy!

  • ooooh yes!!!!! It's from the Dove Affair - he looks very swoonworthy in the whole episode!

  • Hi Dreamybluemeany. Thanks for this fabulous clip. Was wondering which version of the "Cleaners from Venus" song you used here. I tried to track it down, but only found the 2 "Best of" albumn versions which aren't quite the same. This one is my fav.

  • hi zzebeddy, sorry it took so long to reply- this is 'The Jennifers' version of the song (its much happier and upbeat than the other versions :)

  • Thanks for the info, dreamy. Got on the case with a speed that would make the U.N.C.L..E boys proud, only to discover that The Jennifers' version is harder to find than hens' teeth. Was yours a limited edition of some kind?

  • ah as far as I can remember I googled it and found it on some random blog to download. A nice downloadable version can be arranged if you require :)

  • Woohoo! (Jumping up and down, arms in the air, ipod phones clamped firmly round ears and grinning from ear to ear). Found the very same random blog and downloaded successfully. Thanks heaps, Dreamy.

P.S. Looking forward to more of your brilliant editing.

  • Great video! They are both so handsome!!

  • Great!!!! This is the firt time that I hear this cool song. The clips choosen are fantastic. Napoleon and Illya are the best.

  • fabulous!! I really like this song, even if I don't ( of course ) get all the references ^^

  • My silly little canary likes to chirp to this video! :)

  • well as long as its not a thrush. Just proves its on the side of law and order.

  • ROTFL!

  • I like this a lot, the song choice is inspired and boy do I remember all those pop culture references! It's a very fun vid, although I agree some of the pacing and flash cuts are a bit too much for my old eyes. *g* But overall it's wonderful.

  • OMG!!! How absolutely fabulous! Can I marry this and have its children? Perfect editing. And that song ... stuck in my head now :)

  • Terrific vid. The song is great, I'd never heard it before. I love your vids.

  • I do wish the video and song were longer! But, I'm not the one putting it together am I? I just get to watch another masterpiece from the bluemeanies!

  • I love it! Now I have that song stuck in my head!

  • Dreamybluemeany you have made my day! This is such a wonderfully smart and witty video. The song is perfect and the clips are fantastic. Its a brilliant piece of work! I may be squeeing (loudly), but I'm also in awe.

I think the speed of it is great - I second the comment about the video being rewarding on re-viewings. Mind you, that much of the lovely Mr McCallum in 1 minute 47 seconds has left me feeling a little weak *goes off to lie down* :D

    (Love the ending too!)

  • PS. What MFU episode is the ending from? And is it a refence to DMcC's earlier incarnation as Eric Ashley-Pitt, the man who actually can 'cover up the signs of digging'?

  • It's from 'The Off Broadway Affair' I think. (see the escape officer notes escaping techniques in other programmes too :) And we can only hope its a reference to dear Mr Ashley-Pitt. In 'the foreign legion affair' theres a bit when the Army guy calls Illya 'Judas' and McCallum just gives him this look (which may be a reference) and then Illya says "prisoner of war?" I squee anyway :)

    regards the escape officer

  • Hey the end bit wasnt on the version I got sent! Squeeeee! A prezzie! It's mine, all mine *cackles evilly*...and the rest of the escape committee's of course.. but still mine, mine! I shall love it and cherish it and hug it *hugs video*

  • I love the speed of these videos, makes them much more rewarding on re-viewings. Love this new one!

  • The pop culture references were a fantastic counterpoint to the whole vid. Being of that era (and therefore ancient and doddery) it was a bit fast for me to catch all the yummy shots of DMc. Damn - that means I'll have to play it over again. And again. And again... :oP

  • you know I suspect the speed of bluemeany vids probably has something to do with our general caffine intake. :) Still you get your DMc's moneys worth thats what I say :) Hope your having a good Friday Elijah *waves*

  • way too fast!!!! Should have given an extra 10 seconds to each clip! At least!

  • oh dear I was sort of trying to make it bounce along with the music :)

  • I like the speed of bluemeany videos. I think it's my caffine intake, too!
