what was with all the hoopla? i was so excited to see this - and after 2 hrs when the float finally came - there was no music, no lip syncing, no dancing ... just a bunch of people half heartedly waving. what a let down.

Yeah, for about 6 blocks the music shorted out. When that happened I wasn't sure what to do, so I just stayed in character and went catatonic.

I am so sad i didn't go. I was right there...In NYC and we went to some crap town upstate for a wedding. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed. I feel sick. I can't wait to see the footage and I will fly out for the next one.

I know... it was originally going to be day, til our plans got rained out by Hanna 2 months ago. It's a miracle the project has found new life in the Village Halloween Parade, but it also means it's subject to the whims of that parade's schedule.
