Thank you borntowander for this video clips series. This afternoon one of my friend just asked me about some check point at this airport 38 years ago since we were belong to an air cadet group station here in 1972 before going for our trainning at Nha Trang air force trainning center. Then came back here for English course before flying trainning in the US. They bought back a lot of memories.

Thanks for posting about our own country. It brings back so much memory. I served in our Army for 10 years, and spent 5 years in concentration camps, then finally escaped to the free world, but I was also a rock N roll singer during the 60's era too, not like your CBC band, because I quit singing right after being drafted in the Army.
Now watching these videos I feel very happy, but also very hurt. The more I feel hurt the more I hate that SOB Ho Chi Minh and his whole communist regime.
Had to have been many hours of work, but well worth it! Have really enjoyed seeing a lot of places I recognize. Have been back over three times in the last five years and found very little of the facilities we used back in the war. Thanks for the memories.
It's Tan Son Nhat not Tan Son Nhut
