I don't know if it's the piano, but you should work on your sustain technique. You really have a lot of sound to deal with in this song, and it's hard indeed not to mess all the sound up :) So try to cut the sustain totally off and see what comes out of it. Then you cut put back small pieces on it again :)

@snoppdoggi Thank you!! I do have the music, as part of the Pursuit songbook. But I just mostly use the sheets as a guideline for chords and melody, and then do my own thing with it from there :)
