@bradhonker Hey Honker, What are you an Indian or something? You should focus on keepin the wolves out of here instead of your own. Were all hunters and need to stay together before we all lose what we have. I'm sure you voted for I-161 don't cry when it back fires in your face. Try looking at the big picture, Brad
Outfitting does screw some hunters over, but I personally have no problem with it. Outfitters can and do make lots of money, i hope one day to own my outfit. good luck to future hunts
i think you all missed the point of the video.....that damn zip nodded his head yes when asked if he was ready to go. ha ha ha. thats good stuff right there. nothing like the vastness of the backcounty. and yes, we all need to focus our energy....and optics of the wolves.
I'm an avid Back country elk bow hunter from Montana. I live here, work here and hunt here. We deal with the low income jobs, harder life style, and shitty weather. Then when we try to enjoy the best of montana, we can't because the out of staters got more money, they come in buy the lease, pay the outfitters and kick us off. I hunt to feed my family and only kill what I can eat. I read about people shooting 4 elk a year in 4 states. Wasteful and disrespectful. Hunt your own damn state
Hey Mic, I was born and raised in MT and still reside here. I also have a low income job its called outfitting. The vidio you comented on is all public land open to all americans that want to go. Most hunters I come across are not as selfish as the handful like yourself and the mis-lead info you send out. Have you herd of block management? You should try and focuss your negative energy at the wolfs. Thanks for the comment and hope you see the light of the big picture.
Block management is a joke, way over hunted and pre-reserved in most areas for over a year. I just hope that my son doesn't have to pay to hunt in 15 years. Hunting is a way of life not a privelage to the rich. As for outfitters, I've lost many good hunting spots do to outfitters leasing land from the rancher & kicking everybody off for thier out of state client. Even public land is overhunted do to outfitters making it accessable to out of staters. nothing against you, just the system.
awesome job, is this any where near big whole? or jackson whole, i cant remember what its called... just never heard it called dicks bowl before. great job, the horse nodded yes :)
If you have to go, what better way to pass than doing something you love. Dick was a lucky man, many people "rot away" in an old folks home for years.
we do keep our wolves out, as well as trying to keep the out of staters out as well! Hunt in your own state!

Thanks Brad, didn't mean to go on a rant, you got the right to make a living. And if you can do that in the back country then you must enjoy it.
