These are really smart developers.

Make a game fun seems to be their general attitude.

For some reason so many developers get caught up in making their game competitive, realistic that they forget this.

I really like how they have adapted the format from fate, mythos and diablo in this game. They were really smart with only giving the player what is necessary to have fun, nothing less nothing more. Well worth my 20 bucks but I'm waiting until the online version comes out.

It's certainly not a very deep or complicated game, but in a way that works in its advantage. As they said in the video, it's a perfect game to just jump in and play for 20 minutes, but you can still play it for a very long time. If you're looking for a Diablo-killer, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a lot of fun in a neat little package, you really can't go wrong with Torchlight. A great amount of entertainment for a small amount of money; what's not to love?

... forgot to mention, i love the game. it really is fun, it kept my attention but somewhere around lvl 15 i started to wish so much that i could play this with others. I know you have something planned for the future for MP but in a way i really wish you'd held back and put some MP in this.

Keep it simple yeah, this has worked as i'm playing it now and upto lvl 26. But it needs the WOW / Team fortress 2 edge taken off. it needs to look more like Diablo2 mefinks. Realistic over cartoony

It has many things that makes it similar to diablo and especially diablo 3 similar music places battles i mean they explode the same way they explode in diablo 3 when u rip ur enemies.i dont think it'll be as good as diablo 3 but it will be fun thats for sure..thats why i preordered it too ;D

Sometimes simplicity is the key. I'm really looking forward to this game - it seems to have the spirit and the soul of really good gameplay and the focus on the right aspects - something that many games lack nowadays.

Aside of that - I know you kinda have to present your game as a "product" - it sounds awful though. Of course ppl may argue - but from my point of view - some games are art and a real creation of gathered masterminds.

Keep up the promising passion you guys pour into this!
