@beastmode307 Initially, clients could not hold onto a 50mm pole, so we had to get custom poles that were 38mm. Because they are smaller, they have more tendency to bend, but trust me when I say we put those poles through the ringer for over 3 years and they weren't going anywhere. Now, we use 45mm poles :).
@XtremePole sounds like if you were going to teach someone to dance properly you would start them out with 45's if not 50's. Anyone that is going to compete is going to use a 45 or 50... I've got tiny hands and have no trouble with a 50 after I built alil strenght
@PiggyDog89 This video was actually taken over three years ago and unfortunately 45's were not available. We did have a couple of 50 mm's but it's ultimately up to the student to perform on the pole of their choice. Bobbi's Pole Studio in Australia used 38's at the time (and still does) and as you know definitely still has students that successfully compete. This particular young lady could perform on both the 38 and 50 so again it was ultimately her choice. Thanks!
Great lines and tricks, the pole did scare me a little but mine clunks and creeks and I know its safe so I know what you mean about knowing its fine... :O)
something about the pole bending would scare the shit outta me...ijs
