Xbox doesnt have bluetooth sk it uses the same frequency as its other wireless headsets theres a swtich on it as iv covered in the video

switching from bluetooth to xbox mode, it has to resync again for about 10 seconds? So during that time you cannot hear or talk with your online buddies? But switching from xbox to bluetooth mode is instant (for answering a phonecall for example)?

@kiodiekin I use the old wireless mics and when the mic looses connection with 360 it makes an annoying static noise at the other end which my friends tend to complain about.

with this new head set that you got.

does it do the same static noise for your friends to hear while it's in bluetooth mode?

Microsoft needs to put a Bluetooth on the 360. I should not have to but this, but of course they would leave out bluetooth,so I can buy this crap.

@Rolwhite the wireless technique used on the xbox is basically the bluetooth protocol. But it's scrambled, so using standard bluetooth devices isn't possible.

Very stupid, because now indeed you can only buy the few wireless extras (like remote, headset and controllers) released (or licensed) by Microsoft. I prefer Sony's approach, giving the customer the option to choose between 1st (Sony), 2nd (licensed like Logitech) or 3rd party accessories

Does this headset pick up the sound from your speakers easily? The old wireless headsets are notorious for that and I have to use the wired headset because the sound coming from my speakers was being picked up by the headset

I just purchased this headset about 3 days ago. I got the regular black one not the MW 3 one. Question for you though. when using the headset online, all my friends say that it frequently cuts out when I talk and also sometimes it gets disconnected from the console itself. I was just wondering if you had any problems like this with yours.

@FEBoost Try unplugging your Xbox Power chord from the Xbox+ Unplug the power chord from the power circuit. Then plug it back in. It should mostly fix the problem

The cradle does not give the xbox bluetooth capability, thats y the headset has a switch. So no you cant use another blue tooth device but u can charge ur other headsets with the xbox/ cradle if it has a micro usb plug in :)

I purchased the the standard headset. Doesn't come with the Charging stand. This headset also works with the PS3...
