My best friends had the Red ring of death before, playing COD BO and it healed for no reason , then he play FIFA 11, it said game disc couldn't be read, so i said "try and restart your XBOX, it worked with my GC" so he did, he got the red ring of death and Whacked me like Hell!

The way to not get the ring of death on an xbox360 is to lay a fan flat on the floor / desk and put the xobx on top of it. It's a little noisy if the fan is loud but seriously, it stops the boards and circuitry from heating up and frying your xobx.

1. go to xbox.com and in the search bar type " i red rings" and then it will show up look the one with 3 lights becuase thats the one you had and it will tell you some stuff you can do.....it worked for me.

2. do the towell thing were you over heat it my friend did it and it worked

then again i look at this video 2007 and im sure by now u have a ps3 or a new xbox i fell stupid

don't bother with the fixes. EPIC FAIL - bought the repair kit, had my dad (who builds computers for a living) do the repair, followed the instructions to a T, three rings of death. Went from two rings to three rings. Waist of $24 on repair kit and silver arctic paste. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

If you are okay with voiding the warrenty look up a walkthrough to opening an x box 360 then vaccine out any dust carefully. My x box had the ring for a month or two and t thought I was hopeless, but I cleaned the dust and it worked again.

They fixed the hole Red Ring Of Death thing, if you have a 2008+ xbox you only have about 10% of gettting it.

I just got the red ring of death yesterday, after 2 years. I still have a warrantie on it, they will fix it for free before 3 years of purchase.

So they hooked it up to a TV and they were surprised! So instead they gave me the xbox 360 elite free and they gave me a free yrear of xbox live and thats the end of that lukily... but sadly my xbox 360 elite got the red ring of extrerme death so I sold it ,sold all my games and sold the free year of xbox live...
