Jesus said he who loves the world (more than God) does not have the love of god in him. I don't claim to know your walk with God but keep that in mind when listening to different types of music. Me listening to music that isn't considered christian does not make me more less "holy." I am a devoted follower of Christ, play piano in the front of my congregation and I have never once felt bad for listening to other music. I am saved by the blood of Christ, not the music I hear. Saw this guy in concert. They were having technical issues and he was really cool about it, and he is an overall goofy and down to earth person. I love the lyrics to his songs, and I love his voice.

I know I might go to hell for this, but I like that he doesn't really talk about God directly in all his songs, and at times when he does, it fits. It's nice. Before I heard of B. Reith, I heard Christian Rap songs from friends and they were mostly scary and about Jesus bleeding and dying. Thank god, B. Reith doesn't rap/sing about that.

I'm loving B. Reith's music so far, but of the four or five songs that I've listened to, every single one has an annoyingly abrupt ending. It's all fantastic aside from that and the songs really speak to me.

Listen to 'Rain down'. He has been choosen by God to spread the Gospol. His music is very inspirational and very talented. You can tell he is a follower of Jesus by the words and the sound of the way his heart sings. You don't have to mention his name to say you live for him. Actions speck louder than words.

I know I might go to hell for this, but I like that he doesn't really talk about God directly in all his songs, and at times when he does, it fits. It's nice. Before I heard of B. Reith, I heard Christian Rap songs from friends and they were mostly scary and about Jesus bleeding and dying. Thank god, B. Reith doesn't rap/sing about that.

However, I don't think this guys music needs defending. It's not gospel music. Hopefully no one is advertising it as such. But he's a christian making good music that isn't sin-centered. I think that's good enough. :) For gospel-centered music, there is a plethora of artists available. And i'm not talking about "gospel music" lol...I"m talking about Christian Hip Hop.

@Sk8terRome the message is positive, and COULD be about God...but who is to say that someone wont interpret this to be Allah? or their own definition of God? I am not knocking the song...I think that it's very thought provoking. However, I don't think it was intended to be a gospel song. Just because the person is a christian...or the person puts out a positive song, doesn't mean it's a gospel song. the gospel requires the name Jesus. If Jesus isn't mentioned, I can interpret this in anyway

@justrun7 how can yout talk about God in "some" songs its like saying youre gonna acknowledge him some of the time this is worldly music with a worldly message if it were spreading gods message then it would be christian music a true christian would want to lift up god with every fiber in their being, not just "sometimes" God is a jealous God, he could be using this talent to help save souls that's what the Gospel is all about salvation through Jesus' blood, this has nothing to do with christ

He also clearly displays his love and appreciation for what Jesus has done in his life in his song "Just for You" ... I encourage you to check it out... Listen to 'Rain down'. He has been choosen by God to spread the Gospol. His music is very inspirational and very talented. You can tell he is a follower of Jesus by the words and the sound of the way his heart sings. You don't have to mention his name to say you live for him. Actions speck louder than words.
