@jaymitch23 well regardless he was heading to his usual spot but lost the handle, then steve kerr lost the handle, so he wouldve waited the time out anyways, its MJ man
this looks so much more entertaining than the games we see today, i think there were much more athletic smaller players than, now its all about size and having hops
Damon Stoudamire was a beast back then. The Raptors should have kept him for at least one more year until the arrival of Vince Carter and paired them together. That way, he's not solely responsible to carry the team. The same goes for T-Mac, should have kept him.
Can somebody please tell me what the deal with this 50inchvertical spam is? I see it on EVERY SINGLE BASKETBALL video on youtube. Are commenters paid to do this shit?
i'm really happy that the raptors won, but the celebration made it seem like they won the world title it was too happy, and the commentators made it seem like it took a whole team to take down one man(mJ)
det916 yo son come on if even I, alicefergusony am able to dunk, perhaps anyone can, I'm merely 5'10 geez. You can do it too, basically just follow a real workout like the one at 50-inch-vertical(dot)com, it will enhance your individual jumping ability and your basketball skills.
Top 3 moment in raptors history...up there with Alvin William's shot against the Knicks to win our first playoff series and winning the Atlantic division,
this was an awesome game...I remember watching it @ my buddy's house when I was a kid, and wasn't sure who I was cheering for. I lived in Toronto but was a huge Bulls fan...mixed emotions, but fun as hell to watch
I remember this game. Im from toronto and when I saw this i went CRAZY! I couldn't believe we beat the great bulls. We always beat the good teams and lose to the worst.
@CDubb2k8 lol what a dickhead you are you fag!!that last shot by jordan should have stood!!!and so what if the raptors beat the bulls the bulls went on to post 69 wins that season and another win...what did toronto do?FUCKALL!!oh and by the way the defending champion lakers have been destroyed this year at home by utter shite teams!!the bucks by 19 and the grizzles by 21 at home 2!!!the bulls only lost this game by a single point!!the lakers are getting destroyed by hillarious digits!!!
what brings back so many memories is the fact that the Raptors court was the only court that was like that. You can tell this was such an expansion team at the time. Their jersey's werent solidified cause you can tell by the name tags on the back (someone in the design dept was high or somethin), and they were so happy to beat Jordan in a game that didnt matter.
I remember all these players, I didn't start watching the NBA till 98 but I remember the Raptor roster from NBA In The Zone 98 video game for the N64.
det916 I'm only a 5'9 chinese kid and I can easily dunk on 11 foot rims. Anybody can do it, you just need to follow the right training program. I personally used the one from 50 inch vertical (dot) com but just about any training plan is good as long as they work which many do not
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors yvwkwq pspdzmoooruuj #det916
@joseesqueda1994 no they shouldn't of just "given it to him" at the end the raptors played hard as hell and his shot was late. it just goes to show that even jordan can be stopped by good defense
@GoodHipHopLyrics stopped?LMFAO!!!jordan grabbed the rebound spun around and shot how the fuck is that playing good defense of him you fucking twat!!!?jordan MADE the basket you wanker!!good defense means you make the person miss the shot or turn the ball over!!!and what did toronto do in this season?fuckall they didnt make the playoffs and the bulls got 69 wins and another ring!!!this loss was a one off,the season before jordan destroyed them!!!the lakers lost by 21 to grizzles on monday!!!haha
@CARLOS778551 i was talking about this game specifically, CARLOS. alright cholo, i'll put this in simple words so you can understand me okay? alright. go to 7:16 in the video. tell me that this does not show the raptors playing fantastic defense. i will break your nose if you say otherwise cause this is what won the game dumbass. part of their defensive plan was to play tight so they could bleed the shot clock and make steve kerr force a 3 at the end. jordan was too late at the end
det916 I m an awesome 5'9 chinese kid and I can dunk over people. Anybody can easily do it, just use the right training program. I followed the one at 50inch vertical[dot]com but any training program is good if they work that is... lol
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
det916, usually I attempt to just remember just what it was like before I can easily dunk the ball. Soon after I practiced the training course program at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - my game has been increasing dramatically
That said, the Raptors in their first year were actually a team that could have done great things if they were in the East today. Alot of players past their prime, yes, but the mix of veterans and young talent was perfect. They beat alot of good teams that first year (including BOTH Finals teams) and stayed close in almost every game they played.
det916 Are you a baller? you have to check this out - (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - It's a specialized workout that will help you start dunking without even going to the local gym it's not required
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
man, ridiculous high-lights. det916 I particularly like the middle =) Could you believe that I recently got my vertical jump high enough to start dunking! I just used the the nba workout system over at 50 inch vertical (dot) com and managed it in only 2 months!
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
yo, ridiculous high-lights. det916 I specifically like the end =) Can you believe I recently got my vertical jump high enough to begin dunking! I just used the a real training course at 50inch vertical[dot]com and did it in only 2 months!
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
yo det916, I am training to boost my vertical leap by performing the training routine over at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - and so far improved like 8-10 inches thus far but I'm only a a little away from dunking the ball It s still my second week thus far, any tips?
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
@TheAnStar no they didnt you fagott so get your facts right this game was the 1996 97 season u wanker!!the previous season the bulls hammered the raptors at home with jordan scoring 17 points in 6 minutes for the win!!this was in the season where the bulls won 69 wins!!DICKHEAD!!!!
So my team mate det916 finally told me how he started dunking, he s shorter than me, he s only 5 6 but leaps over 8 inches taller! So he used the program over at | 50 inch vertical(dot)com | and increased over 15 inches in his vertical jump!
1996: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
wow - i was at this game. myself and 2 friends drove from rochester ny, scalped tickets and were way up in the upper deck. the skydome was rockin. i drove up to see the mj, pippen and rodman and enjoyed a great game.
What a great game! The Raptors came to play and they were not going to let the Bulls push them around and intimidate them. And that Canadian announcer, Rod Black, he has a hell of a voice and I can tell he knows how to call games.
I remember that game, f*ck that was amazing...Bulls won 72 games that year and only lost 3 times throughout the entire playoffs...sadly that still might be the biggest win in my beloved Raptors' history...
the only thing oliver miller ,the fat fuck , could beat is an egg into a cake , i love how ballers always talk shit after the refs have broken it up , pussy boy go eat a dick lol
thanks for posting this. i'm a die hard raps fan and was just searching the team on youtube when i came across this little gem.
My first nba game was in orlando but my first every raps game that i went to was this one. at the time i was excited about the big upset but i never knew how big of a deal it was until i noticed people talking about this specific game years later.
lol... nosebleed section. I still remember so much about it though. bragging rights for being there still stand

I remember that game, f*ck that was amazing...Bulls won 72 games that year and only lost 3 times throughout the entire playoffs...sadly that still might be the biggest win in my beloved Raptors' history...

If Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Morris Peterson and Mike James had stayed in Toronto, the raptors would be one of the best NBA team.

Mike James???
You think the team could be big enough for all their egos?

thanks for posting this. i'm a die hard raps fan and was just searching the team on youtube when i came across this little gem.
My first nba game was in orlando but my first every raps game that i went to was this one. at the time i was excited about the big upset but i never knew how big of a deal it was until i noticed people talking about this specific game years later.
lol... nosebleed section. I still remember so much about it though. bragging rights for being there still stand
