I freakin love it ( I can't believe people post negative things about being innovative ). Technology and musicianship have gone hand in hand since the piano forte and the harpsichord. I think it's amazing. Nice job, dude, and thanks for posting!
emm... i think you should read the comment. Jamming with any musician gives that felling of adrenaline, when you connect with an accomplished musician you really feel alive. This guy looks like he really is toiling to get minimal effect. It does NOT seem worth it musically.
It would be quite gauche to get this thing out at a gig, i personally would cringe.
and yeh hawk... i do know very well that the keyboard exists.
ya, I was thinking you were just saying to try to master in the guitar and not to do much else, which I guess would be alright, many good guitarists do that, but bass and keyboard make some of the best bands also, studying all 3 might take too long, but you can't neglect those instruments a lot of times, you could almost have all 3 on that instrument, good example of a keyboard making the difference would be in groups such as the Doors
I have an instrument similar to this, and its not as clumsy and cumbersome as you think. Its alot more difficult than normal guitar, which I've been playing for 7 years. Its so much fun to play. You should see the reactions I get when I show it to people.
I WOULD agree with you, but when you say "sound produced" you are criticizing the tone of the tone he is using. MIDI allows you to trigger any sound you want, not just an organ sound like this. The possibilities are endless.
oh yes you can. Its a six string bass for the left hand, and another six string for the other hand. Its like tapping with both hands on anormal six string, except that each hand has its own set of strings. So its not as hard as it looks.
is this guy trying to compensate for something? lol I mean get a big truck jeez... kind of phallic... but hey good playing! That must be really hard to pull off.

At some point it seems like it would just be a LOT easier to learn how to play a keyboard and get a decent synth...lol

I dont really see the need of getting two people for a job that this man can accomplish by himself.
And who cares how its made as long as its music?
ZOMGItsRobot 2 years ago 5
or instead of having some douche screw up the music you write, play both at once

yeh, dying fetus. i would much rather have a bass jam with my pianist than fumble around on this clumsy, cumbersome thing.

Out of curiosity, can you play the keyboards, and if so what's the main difference playing the same music piece on actualy keys versus strings?
