Hi Onika what is the exact name of the moisterizer you applied to ends of your hair in this video. Love the progress that you are making in your hair regimen!
You hair looks beautiful and healthy . U've got me thinking to texlax my hair for 2012 but I dont know where to start. My goal is to retain length and thickness
if i paided you 200$ a month for 2 1/2 years, wud u help me grow my hair out from neck legnth to bra strap or arm pit legnth?im 100% serious about this,no joke email me,plzzz!!
I was wondering when you do a fresh relaxer and your wearing it out do you retouch your hair with the flat iron for a sleeker look or does your flat iron/blow dry last the entire week without frizz.
@jane718 usualy some kind of oil is added. Some ppl buy texlaxers, they/'re arn't many. Others use their oil of choice to brake down the harshness in relaxers... I hope that helped:o)
ugh i love ur hair and ur accent... its so cute lol...thats the texturizer i was going to use but i want my hair to be straight and my hair is 4b so i dont know how well it would take if i used a texturizer
Yay, you answered my question! (About smoothing in the relaxer before rinsing out). I plan on using your method and the JFM texture softener for my next texlax. Thanks a lot for all the info!
do you ever have to deal with those major knots that take up an entire section of your hair? I had that happen yesterday - and had to cut out a section because the knot was so bad :/ how do you do it?!
Love it I just started my Hair journey Im taking biotin so far I need to get more supplements but I am seeing growth Ive been taking it for about 4 wks now and my hair is shoulder length and the back is starting to fall Im so happy I saw your video and I went out and brought me some coconut oil and castor oil/but it was some root stimulator..also I brought pure argan oil which I love thanks your a great inspiration :) Soon I will be making videos as well
Wow girl u had some great growth from 2009 to 2012. How long have u been stretching a year & will u continue 2 do this? Do u take vitamins or use hair growth aids on your scalp? U seriously have me considering a texturizer instead of a regular relaxer.
I get the point. I believe that is why soooo many people with relaxers hair break...they are perming too often...If you wait, then you actually have new growth to texlax or relax---thus preventing relaxing hair that have already been permed weeks before. I believe waiting pervents overprocessing...thus eliminating breakage...YOu can have long and healthy relaxed/texlaxed hair.
thanx for the vid! about breakage & shedding, i know u use black tea rinses, have u ever considered using it as a leave in. i got a black tea leave in from ilovemyfro i was scared to use it bc i hate black tea rinses bc they dry my hair out too much & i don't like adding co washes into my reg to combat the effects bc it's too much manipulation, but the black tea leave in is amazing! i use it & then seal w/ an oil or layer it w/ another leave in b4 sealing. it has reduced my breakage 4 sure.
are u guyanese?

@jane718 a relaxer just gets ur hair bone straight... a texlax lets u keep some of ur natural texture..
