I think that's what they call Scotland the Brave.. Is it true that when you start up the instrument it's called 'breaking wind'??? This guy's pretty good, isn't he? *picks nose* Is it hard to play the bagpipe?
I've never heard it as "breaking wind" I've always heard and used the term "striking in" because when you inflate the bag to where the instrument is almost going, you "strike" the bag just before you blow your next puff of air into it to get it going without wailing.
The hardest part of playing the bagpipe is doing what you see him doing in the first minute or so...tuning the drones. Once you get past that, the rest is cake.

I think it's "Miss Megan Harrington" (Ryan's fiancee). I've only heard this tune played at the FMM pre-Worlds concert this year and I think that's what it was, but I'm not sure.

its a matter of taste.
"stevies first bar" was written by this guy here,Ryan canning. he's a great composer,and he makes nice reeds.
