I find it ironic though that the last line of the last song, "Rivers and roads 'til I reach you," are from this song, sang by the band The Head and The Heart, from my hometown in Seattle. It seems so retarded to say, but The Head and The heart, in addition to this song, will always have a special place in heart.

People always either complain that a band is gaining recognition and "becoming mainstream" OR people complain that mainstream music sucks and people should listen to more bands like this. I'm glad I'm not a people.

This song is the first I heard from them and now that I have the CD this is still my favorite. It makes me so sentimental and sad and happy and nostalgic. Sickest drummer ever. Not only does he use a maraca to drum, you never see his eyes which is mysterious and cool as fuck and he sings just as much as everyone else. SWEEEET performance, great band, unbelievable emotion behind every word. <3

Of course I like voices that have interesting character, and I am not suggesting they change anything other than make sure they are singing in tune. They have nice harmonies that suffer because they are out of tune....if they were spot on, they would resonate better together and create a more full sound. Listen to 1:15.
The harmonies at 1:15 are great, butttt since there are intonation problems the vocals sound really muffled and dull because the sound waves cancel each other out. If it were in tune, it would sound huge and glorious.

These guys just owned Bonnaroo. By far this is the best song I've ever heard live. Their set had so much energy and emotion that I was moved to tears, and this video brought it back just that quick. I can't wait to see what the future holds for these wonderful musicians. Just Beautiful.

I just cannot get enough of this. I actually discovered them while at the Iron and Wine concert and this song made me love them. It's always stuck in my head.

@adventurous25 I'm so sick of hearing people complain about their favorite band getting big. That's what they set out to do, if they're not selling out their sound to create a bigger fan base, then there isn't a problem.
People seem to think that the more fans they have, the worse they get. If they're music stays the same and you still like it then WHO CARES who else likes them, you should be happy that they're living their dream.

first saw them open for Dr. Dog and even tho I love Dog's music, they were a hard act to follow. they blew the doors off of Bonnaroo too. Charity can belt it and love how she bounces around with energy. the whole act radiates energy and it's contagious. if they keep up the great songwriting, honestly think the sky's the limit for them.

These guys just owned Bonnaroo. By far this is the best song I've ever heard live. Their set had so much energy and emotion that I was moved to tears, and this video brought it back just that quick. I can't wait to see what the future holds for these wonderful musicians. Just Beautiful.

I had never heard of them when they performed this song as a warm-up for My Morning Jacket. This band is the only thing I had on my mind for the rest of the concert. :P
