Nice version! I play this one from Live After Death - Nicko McBrain style. Check it out when you have time - I spent some time mixing it right, I think it sounds decent :) I like the wind chimes you've got there, adds a nice touch.

@marcosmitsrotterdam Dude I uploaded this two years ago...If I were to play it now, I'd play it a lot different. I would also play it to the Iron Maiden version. I had been considering redoing the cover to do the song justice and to make the drums sound better. But I've been busy with original stuff and haven't gotten around to it.

you definitely know how to play the drums, but you definitely do not play the "Hallowed br thy Name" drumming.

You improvise and have too much of drum solo within the song. Crucial part is 5:45 - 6:23. You miss the magic pause at 6:12.

It's not about having as many hits as possible. If that would be it then Nicko would have used each of his hands by the 3 times speed comp. to you.

i like your cover except for a one thing

Nicko McBrain plays it the way that he does for one reason, he better than most drummers alive understands the value between notes is more valuable than the notes them selves.

I like that you added a bit of fire to it, but i feel it takes away from the rest of the song, your playing too fast for this song, and it sounds messy because of it. (not that your messy)

Other than over doing it (in my opinion) it was very well done.

And that 'screamo shit' happens to be black metal (in the first albums) and some sort of weird extreme gothic metal in the last albums. Hate the last albums anyway they ruined the whole idea, just like dimmu borgir on their last album.
