The doctors didn't even know what was going on. Her belly was distended and they were about to operate on our 2 1/2 pound baby! I was scared out of my mind! Then God brought us a pediatric surgeon from outside the hospital who told them what to do, and the baby progressed remarkably. The operation was cancelled the same morning it was supposed to take place. God saved her!

Wow! I love the pictures and the music. Elton John is awesome with music. My daughter was born at 28 weeks. I had an infection, actually two infections. I had Listeria and a bladder infection. If it wasn't for the bladder infection, Caitlin would not be here, because Listeria can kill babies, or cause prematurity. When she was born, the infection had already started eating at her body. She is now 4 months old, infection free, healthy and home. She spent 13 weeks in the hospital

i'm so glad that Joshua is doing well. i have a 15-month baby girl and am pregnant with a baby boy and I pray daily that he stays inside until i'm full-term. every time i see videos like this, my heart goes out to the babies and the families. i cannot fathom how much it must hurt to see your baby fighting for his/her life every minute. i do pray for all preemie babies. the great thing is that we live in a decade whit medical advances. Thank God for miracles!!!

Thank you for your comment. Yes Joshua really is a true miracle. He's 17 months old now and is doing better than most babies his age that are born full term. I hope that your pregnancy goes well. All the best.

Thanks for your message. Joshua is 8 months old today and weighs 15LB 8OZ. He's doing exceptionally well. No problems at all. Check out my second slide show it shows more recent oictures. My username is englishedd.

Just stay positive. Things will be scarey to start with, but after a while you'll see fast improvements. before you know it you'll be bringing that abby home.

I'm so glad that this video gives you encouragement, thats precisely why I posted it. Just hang in there, what you're going through right now is really tough, but please have faith in those nurses and doctors and your baby will be fine in the end. Our son is almost caught up with where he should be. Just hang in there! Congratulations.
