I find the special stage a little harder in the HD version because the UFOs move more smoothly instead of a pixel per each 2 frames or something like that

Hmm. I didn't realize the foreground crystals in Quartz Quadrant are msising in the new version.
I also completely forgot where all of the robot transporters were until I saw one zoom by in the HD Quartz Quadrant run. I'm terrible at the special stages so I always got the good ending by destroying the robot transporters.
@Overhazard Actually they moved the crystals from the foreground to the background. I am guessing because they moved the item box to the back (@3:25) and they were tided together.
@DerfsonicGaming That doesn't make any sense, the "HD" version was built from the ground up on a totally different engine so you'd think that they could moved the crystals and item box to different layers.
HD had the remade graphics and the original ones don't which means HD is better.

the scale of UFOs sprites were fixed in the new version, so that'll be easier to judge where they are.
