  • I'm 5.8" and i weight 200. Is it good for me or do i need a larger bike?

  • @400josue

While you could utilize the 250r, I suggest a 500, either ninja ex500 or the suzuki gs500f for a starter bike.

  • The Ninja blue n´ white is great, very beautiful.

  • @Kumbanigash

    Thank you.

  • are you guy's members of ninjette.org?

  • @dexspeed1122

    They weren't, I was.

  • I love the sound of the last bike, but i like the looks of the first one =D

  • lol so im leaving going slow..haha not like they can go fast

  • Alright I will have to get a used one then to keep it in my budget. I appreciate it

  • @loungo1567

Not a problem. Just don't want you to start out on a bike that you may outgrow in a matter of weeks.

  • @TofuProductionCinema Yeah I would like more power too. lol So I will try and find a used 600. Safe Riding

  • @loungo1567

You as well, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

  • @TofuProductionCinema im 4'11 and i was wondering would that be a good starter bike for me and my height?

  • @MsJadeviolet

It can be sure, but you may need to lower it an inch, as I said it's not just height that matters but the inseam of your leg. You don't really HAVE to flat foot a bike, I've tippytoed on my 600rr before and it's not a big deal. Once you get up and moving you're fine. Best bet is to just sit on one (with supervision) and see how well it fits you.

  • I am 6'2 and thinking about getting this or the cbr250r do you think this or a cbr I am a Honda fan lol. I think this bike sounds ewy better than the cbr

  • @loungo1567

get a 500 or a 650. The 250 is too small for you.

  • HI there, on the first black ninja id just like to ask ... the 140 tire she has fitted to it ... is it fit to the stock rim or a rim made for 140mm? I was thinking about putting this type of tire on my 250R but I w anna know if its going to drastically effect the way the bike performs or not

  • @Vince62965

It fits on stock rim. I ran a 150 rear on my stock rim, but you cannot go beyond that without modifying the swingarm.

  • Hey, few quick questions.i just turned 18 and im thinkin about getting my bike license and im currently 6'2 150 lbs, i also have about 2 years of 250 dirtbike riding around my belt. i'm very interested in the ninja series. i'm debating weather to get a 250 or a 500, the 250s look a lil girly, NO OFFENSE, i just want something that sounds decent and has some decent acceleration. my price range is also $4k-. get back to me! thanks.

  • @MyDubSex

Not bad, but given your height and weight you would be much more comfortable on a ninja 500. Also look into the Suzuki GS500F, they are great starter bikes that would fit your build a bit better. 600s can be in your price range as well, just be easy on the throttle the first time and such- the rider makes the bike, not the other way around.

  • @MyDubSex You are tall for the 250. I'm 5'7" and it feels like it was made for me. Nicole looks to be about 5'6". I was disappointed in the 500 engine. I had it in the Vulcan 500 though and it was not as fast as my Ninja 250. Different set-up I guess although the engine ran ok, but was just sluggish. Maybe a 600 or 650 would be better for you if you are really careful and can afford it. Go sit on each of them.

  • black one is sooo sexay!!

  • nicole is sexy ou lala

  • Hi! I'm 5'6 1/2 tall Do you think I'm able to land my both feet when I ride this bike on stop or not? you're reply would be a great help for me. Thanks!

  • @dRAdrianEA

Yes I'm the same height as you- when i owned this bike I was able to flat foot just fine without lowering. Keep in mind though it's not necessarily the height that determines if you can flat foot or not, but your inseam.

  • @TofuProductionCinema

Thanks for the reply! However, when you said you are able to flat foot just fine, does that mean you are able to land both foot flat on the floor or you had to tip toe a little bit?

  • @dRAdrianEA

Yes I was able to have both feet flat on the ground, maybe just my heel was like 1/2 an inch off the ground.

  • @TofuProductionCinema

Oh! Another question! who are you there in the video? are you the guy wearing the black jacket? The bike seems really perfect for him!

  • @dRAdrianEA

Lol that "guy" is actually a girl. I'm the only guy in the video (was on the blue/white one)

  • light up there but its nobody home....

  • gotta get me one of these... xD

  • Dest yerty prunm fretyr ojajk, ist eyst ninuzedes?

  • 1:38 was one of the best parts of this video :-)

  • Hi!! Awsome comparisons!! Can you please tell me which make and model are the windscreens on the Blue and Balck Ninjjete?? Tks a lot!!

  • @XaviJuli07

The black one had a hotbodies smoked double bubble wind screen.

The blue/white one was just the original oem windscreen that I painted black.

  • @XaviJuli07 dest yerty prunm fretyr ojajk, ist eyst ninuzedes?

  • hi im 6'0 feet 180 pounds. you think this 250r would be a good fit for me to start off?? thanks

  • @alexrgz28

I think you'd enjoy the 500 more, the Ninja 500 or even a suzuki gs500f is a great starter bike as well.

  • @TofuProductionCinema dude u think ninja is worth paying around 6500US$ coz here in india we've import duties and shit , while the cbr 250r manufactured locally in india which is just 4000$ with the ABS version (where in US it costs 500$ additional for ABS) so which one would you go for?

  • @nithishsorock

I'm confused by your question, 6500 US here in the states or overseas where you are in India? I know they do not go for 6500 here in the states. the Honda 250r is decent as well which I've ridden before but I preferred the kawi 250r personally.

  • @TofuProductionCinema yeah, it is sold in india for almost 6500$ (3,15,000 rupees) where as cbr 250r with the ABS costs less than 4000$ (1,92,500 rupees)

  • @nithishsorock

It's all personal preference. In my opinion I'd take the Kawi 250r. But if you can get the 250r with abs by honda it's not a bad choice either.

  • @alexrgz28 I just bought one a month ago and part of me regrets it due to the break in period and top end speed. Then a professional who raced for years told me they are alot of fun, and they are. Great price, and I noticed once broken in you are shifting through all gears without getting up into crazy speeds and risking your life while getting used to sport bikes.

  • @poit444

Yep prior my 250r I had a 05 r6 and an 05 rr, my 08 250r was fun and I tracked it as well, but I sold it a bit ago and am back on my 05 rr.

  • @alexrgz28 I just bought one a month ago and part of me regrets it due to the break in period and top end speed. Then a professional who raced for years told me they are alot of fun, and they are. Great price, and I noticed once broken in, you are shifting through all gears without getting up into crazy speeds and risking your life while getting used to sport bikes. Real fun bike.

  • how do you guys get a license for motorbikes??

  • @puset00

Umm, you can take the test right at the DMV, or you take the MSF course and get your m-class at the end.

  • Hey Awsome vid! Just got mine 2011 ninja 250r would you be able to give the blank ninja's rear 140 exact spec plz?

  • @thefrackingderr

    140/80/17. I recommend a 140/70/17

  • The black Ninja, what are the exact specs of the rear tire plz?

  • @thefrackingderr

    140/80/17

  • Umm, I kinda have the urge to sell my R1 for a 250 if it attracts girls like that...lol

  • @chicco129 ura frikin prick bro women got just as many rights as a man u sexist ass clown

  • I dont trust the girl on the green one she doesnt even know how to turn her head and look where she wants to go. Wide ass turns at the end and of course shes the one who drives the most reckless.

  • @sk8ergangsta2003 I wanna know how she got her license with turns like that....

  • @Chris28456

    haha.

  • Do you see a lot of guys with 250's? I'm trying to get one and then add an exhaust. Would it be considered a girl bike got me

  • @daniel43311 Just look around YouTube most of the videos about 250's are from guys. Who cares what other people think riding is about having fun. Hybusa's are gonna make fun of liter bikes, liters make fun of 750's and 600's 750's make fun of 600's etc...same goes with cars but displacement isn't a factor with cars....

  • @Chris28456

I like the way you think man!

  • Haha, of course the Asian guy has everything aftermarket. Love it!

    He is Asian right?

  • @colin4393

Yes, I am asian, and yes - haha...

  • @TofuProductionCinema Hahaha, classic! Definitely getting a 250r, when I get my learners.

  • think that it would be great for my first bike :) thanks for this vid :D

  • The first one is exactly the same as mine apart from it has a Leo vince slip on :O

  • 0:29, is that a stock rear tire?

  • I just wanted to ask how tall must I be to ride this bike...I am 182cm tall and i got 70kg

    HOw tall are you?

  • @iktus666

Um.. I am 5 ft 6 inches and I was able to flat foot just fine. It's not really (just) how tall you are, but what you inseam is.

  • @iktus666 you are fine im 172cm and i flat foot it no prob theres a pic on my profile

  • would this be a good starter bike?

I dont want anything overly powerful and I've heard great things about ninja's and kawa bikes in general.

  • @Nephilimsfall

Yes, it is a great beginner bike, actually if you check around for reviews, the 250r is THE best beginner bike out there, conservatively speaking. If you are of a larger build, you can also start off on the Ninja ex500, Suzuki also offers the gs500f, and such as well.

  • @TofuProductionCinema

Thanks a lot man, the only problem it, they are kinda expensive where I live(about 3 3.5grand) would a 600CC ninja be too much power for a first bike? they're a LOT cheaper.

  • @Nephilimsfall

You're telling me a 600cc is cheaper than a 250cc bike? No bike has too much power unless if you cannot control it properly. In my opinion anyways.

  • Loved the blue/white ninja. The green ninjas stock exhaust sounded really good out of the three on film, IMO.

  • Man this is one sexy bike!

  • Wwaaaaaaa

  • Women don't belong on motorcycles, they along in the kitchen

  • @chicco129 I love women on motorcycles.

  • @alexcandy1411 I can definitely ride this. I already have the license.. :D

  • I really like the black one

  • @gamegenius85

    I believe it was solmotoparts(dot)com

  • Sorry for keep buggin ya with the vinyl Qs. Here are some more. Did you order as a rectangular piece? Did u cut them while it is on the bike or did you pre cut and apply? What did you use to cut? Specially around those openings on the sides? How did you get it so precisely? Any tips? Your bike looked amazing. I hope you don't mind but I will be replicating it.

  • @mightymikee

I just cut it while it was on my bike, used patience and careful eyes. That's all you really need if you're free-cutting it.

  • blonde..

  • LOLLL the was the fastest "slow ride" ive ever seen.

  • I hope to get my 250r soon cool vid

  • @MrJuiceyork

    Enjoy it!

  • Can this be taken on an interstate?

  • @deejay1214

Yes, I actually took this on the superhighways across state lines to visit my fiancee at the time, and it held up perfectly, and I've done it multiple times. The bike can go up to 110 ish, but you will be near redline. It's best for commuting (and track if you wish), and highway it's capable, but you may have difficulty passing (quickly) traffic if you're trying to weave around it. In short terms, yes it will do just fine.

  • If you don't mind me asking, did u talk to specific person to get it cut? Do you have the dimensions? How much did it cost you?

  • @mightymikee

Nope I just measured it myself, no dimensions sorry, I'd check for you but I sold this bike a while ago and got my old bike back. I can't imagine the cost of materials running more than 40 dollars or so.

  • Thanks for the great video. Did you add the whites on the side fairing? I really love the way it looks. Where did u get them from?

  • @mightymikee

    Thanks

Yes, I did. You can order your own in your own size from StickerCity(dot)com

  • NO WAY!! The first ninja is mine now, I bought it from her this year! Pretty kool to see it on Youtube lol

  • @Jaydee4560

yep I sold mine this year as well, how much did she sell it to you for? Her name was Tyfanni right?

  • @TofuProductionCinema

Yeah Tyfanni J. I picked the bike up from around Woodridge,IL area. She sold it to me for $2,900 with a jacket, helmet, and rear bike stand. Why did you sell your bike? and what do you have now?

  • @Jaydee4560

Nice she had it listed on Craigslist for like 4k earlier in the year. I sold mine a while back, I still have my 600rr. She probably gave up riding if she gave you all her gear too. Enjoy the bike, I'm not far from Woodridge, where do you reside?

  • @TofuProductionCinema

She had extra gear that she threw in, she said she wanted to get something more powerful. 600RR ? very nice! How are you liking it? I'm actually looking to get a 600rr or a ninja 650R this upcoming summer. I'm on the boarder of Chicago and harwood Heights which is about 45mins from Woodridge.

  • @Jaydee4560

    Very nice.

Yeah I had a r6 and 600rr before my 250r, but I rode dirty with those bikes, finally got the 250r which I took my M-class with and ended up tracking it and I missed my 600rr so I got another one. If you're riding next season, message me and we can ride up, I got a great bunch of people I ride with, down to earth and just love to ride.

  • @TofuProductionCinema

For sure gonna be riding next summer, Looking forward to meeting all you guys!

  • I bet that growler sounded awesome from all that echoing

  • I forgot to mention that I have the body build of the taller skinny types...I'm not bulky.

  • @sourcemaster

I would recommend you start on a 500cc just for comfort wise. You could do it on the 250r but you may really find the overall size of the bike just too small for your build.

  • I'm 6 foot, 180ish pounds. Am I too big for this bike?

  • @sourcemaster i think you are fit to it because im 180 with 7cm less than you.

  • Dear Santa....

  • Nice

  • Where did Nicole get her jacket??

  • @roaminroundeurope

I believe locally here, but you can also look for it on motorcyclesuperstore(dot)com, revzilla(dot)com, newenough(dot)com, d2moto(dot)com and plenty of other places.

  • The first one sounded great.

  • the black ninja is the best looker of the lot....can you mention all the upgrades ??

  • @airborneaksai

it's in the video- pay attention.

  • woman and technology (no wonder she can't film) xp

  • Did u see any special difference with the slip on akrapovic?

  • @DeepPurple21

not exactly, however the weight difference is night and day. I did seem to notice also though, that with the akra on compared to the stock exhaust- the pickup was noticeably better.

  • @TofuProductionCinema

You mean that with the akrapovic slip on the bike is lighter than with the stock exhaust? By saying pickup what do u mean my friend? i ve asked many ppl that work in bike shops and told me that for a 250cc bike it's not worth changing the exhaust cause it's made that way so at every rpm u have the right speed and if i change i ll lose at low rpms and gain at high but it's one way another.sorry for my bad english

  • @joannaki90

Yes the akra exhaust is made out of carbin fiber which is significantly lighter than the stock exhaust by I'd say nearly ten pounds. By pickup I mean the acceleration, however it's not a night and day difference, I would just say it has a smoother powerband with less 'dead' spots within it. I changed mine out mainly for the sound and weight savings - I also think it looks better than the stock exhaust.

  • re-upload this video with the girl on the green ninja naked, and you will have my thumbs up.

  • how tall is the girl? i want to imagine how i'd look in one of these :) thanks

  • @unwantedsum1

    About 5 ft 6.

  • who that place is

  • @lords83

this clip was shot somewhere in Naperville, IL

  • The Blue bike is definitely the coolest!

  • @TheCarVlogger

Thank you, it was sold a few weeks ago!

  • @TofuProductionCinema What a shame, I would have loved to have it. haha. Are you getting a new bike. If so, I would love to see a video of it, you did a great job on this one.

  • @TheCarVlogger

Haha, thank you! Well this video was really just a spur of the moment, I'll have an adequate video for my other bike in due time, it's an 05 cbr600rr.

    Thank you again!

  • 3:51 Geoff obviously has said "I'm the friggin director, so this is whats going to happen.. - film me, and read out this list of extensive mods on my machine - or you gonna get cut!"

  • @SportsSavage

its a company that makes aftermarket ceramic brake pads.

  • @gamegenius85

Look into targa (it comes with a license plate light). I personally had the b2 industries. Good luck.

  • am i the only one who thinks the stock bike sounded better than the others?

  • @Mitraeltheprophet

I won't lie, at times I did miss the stock sound, I mainly switched mine out for the weight loss. the oem pipe compared to the akrapovic was a night and day difference when it came to weight.

  • @TofuProductionCinema i understand that.. i just won't bother much on performance for 250cc.. ok i'm not saying this bike is a "slow" one but when there are 600 and 1000cc i just thing focusing more on making it look and sound like a stronger bike is much more doable than trying to make it faster.. :P Anyway thnx for your video cause i learned that when i buy this bike i should keep the stock equipement.. :D

  • @Mitraeltheprophet

Enjoy it! I just sold mine not long ago.

  • Well, those tires are smaller than original right? O.o

  • @ChuckPreZton

Stock tire size actually. I went with wider tires about a week after this video was shot. Only aftermarket tire is on the black 250r, she was running a 140 rear. I went with a 150 rear and 120 front later on.

  • Ha, i really loved this video!! Great show of the various bikes. Last one was definitely awesome!!! Btw, Jeff, you definitely have a great sense of humour!! (:

  • @Meyanoos

    thank you! :)

  • The last bike sounded the best....my daughter wants one....

  • @voogun

Thank you, my bike (the last one) was sold a few days ago. I picked up something else to enjoy.

I hope this video was somewhat helpful!

    Thank you everyone.

  • nic vid, nice frirnds

  • im not sure i like these are they normal size not like honda cbr 125's fav ninja is zxr600

  • @IamTKproductions

They are just a tad smaller than the zx6r.

  • @IamTKproductions almost double the size smaller and weight.

  • @TrevorH12345

    you're very welcome.

  • @TrevorH12345

It doesn't have to be per-se, but with a rejet you will notice a smoother and slightly better powerband. I just haven't bothered with it as of late.

  • is it a 6 speed

  • @TheKnightman25

    yes.

  • @TrevorH12345

Nah, not with the slip-on I didn't, but generally with a full, it's recommended.

  • bro ur blue 250r is a sweet ass bike how much did you spend in total for the mods man?

  • @ChicanoAngel01

To be honest I don't know off the top of my head, I'd say well over 1500. I know at that price and the price of the bike I could've gotten a 600 cc bike, but again, i came from that and this is a different style of riding for me as stated in my previous comments. I enjoy it to it's fullest, and I rather ride my slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow. Thank you for the compliment.

  • @TofuProductionCinema I feel you on that bro oh and well im thinking of getting a 250 as well but i dont like the color of the one i saw so i might paint it shortly after i get it but how much was your paint job man? oh and i have heard other riders say the same thing about the bigger bikes man so i guess your right man drive your slow bike fast bro oh an how fast have you gotten it up too?

  • @ChicanoAngel01

Mine is stock 08 candy plasma blue paint with custom white vinyl which I put on myself. Fastest I took this bike up to was redline which was only about 110-115ish. You won't really go any faster than that, but that is plenty enough for daily riding and is more than adequate enough to take you on the highway. Sure- you won't whip back like a 600 or anything on the highway, but given if you ride sensibly, you can still get around on town and on the highway with no problem.

  • @TofuProductionCinema Cool man I look forward to riding my bike bro lol but thanks for all the heads up man. Oh and I don't think I will have to pass over 115 lol snice i'm a rookie lol. Oh an once again cool bike bro good work on it man.

  • @ChicanoAngel01

Hey anytime man, ride safe and enjoy it. Many people will want to upgrade, but I'm one of the few that came from a bigger bike and enjoy my smaller bike much more immensely. Any questions, comments, or concerns, just ask me at anytime.

  • @TofuProductionCinema Yea I heard that bro but I hope that doesn't happen to me but we never know oh and sure man I will keep that in mind.

  • @ dogface. I have a 2011 250R and I bought it with 2 miles on it. From razzee motorspors out here in RI. And I'll be honest it's hard as hell to stay within kawasaki's guideline for proper break-in. I basically watched it for about 200 miles keeping it around 6k ( gotta admit taking her on the highway I was fired to go a bit higher) but after the first 200 miles I kinda just ride the shit out of her and she takes it like a champ. I do all the maintenance as required including the 100 mile oil

  • If you are going to buy so much aftermarket stuff for a 250r... Why not just get a better bike?

  • Define better.

I came from a r6 then a 600rr. My bike is for daily commute and track riding, I don't care for going 140+ on the freeway. Considering it's cheap to insure, maintain, and even purchase- this bike is perfect for someone my size, not to mention I have used this bike and passed 600s and 1000s all day long at the track. It's a whole different class than a 600cc +. I like to make my bike my own and I used to modify nearly everything I own, see other videos to confirm that statement.

  • 1st bike sounds sweet. 2nd chick was having a blast! 3rd bike is just legit

  • @Dogfacerawr

Thank you for the kind words!

  • @TofuProductionCinema No problem man, hey I had a question though. Did any of you buy your 250s new? And did you "break it in" and stay under 4k RPMs as the for the first 500 miles as the manual suggests? I'm wondering because I'm currently "breaking" my bike in and it's quite difficult to stay under 4k :)

  • @Dogfacerawr

Well to my knowledge we all bought ours used. I purchased mine in Dec. of '09 with barely 1500 on the odometer for a very great price in mint condition. Fast forward to now where it has nearly 14k on the odometer .. it still runs like a champ. Most people who I have seen who purchase bikes new tend to keep the rpms under 6k but dont quote me on that. Check out kawiforums(dot)com and check the 250 section, very helpful information on there, I post on that site from time to time!

  • @TofuProductionCinema Thanks a lot for the info man. I checked out that website and it's really good. Seems like everyone has their own opinion on how to break in a motorcycle... I'll just play it safe and follow the manual.

  • @Dogfacerawr

    ride safe, buddy!

  • I love the second girls helmet, where did she get it?

  • @PANdORAxSM9

that's a basic HJC helmet, you can find those anywhere such as on d2moto, newenough, kneedraggers, and solomotoparts (dot) com.

  • What about a 6'6 guy?

  • @Duitslond

it can be done, but in my opinion it all comes down to weight. For being 6'6, you may experience a different ride quality than someone such as myself who is a foot shorter than you. I flat foot on my bike, maybe a 650r or 600cc bike may be more adequate for yourself, or even a 500.

  • I've been looking at getting one of these for zipping around the city on. I like the '08+ model much better obviously, but the '07- model i can get for about half the price. is the '08+ model worth the extra money other than just looks?

    Thanks

  • @tylerpmac

Other than looks I don't see a huge difference. You'll be happy either way in my opinion!

  • @TofuProductionCinema Damn. I was hoping you would tell me not to get the older one lol! That way I could justify spending the extra money!

    Thanks for the input anyway!
