  • emergency room, the scene where is gale harold in it :)

  • Revival is not a way that we are to choose by our own will. Freedom is an illusion, but never a reason not to act. Yet, hope is a powerful weapon for those who intend to misuse it to reach their aims. It's not: forgive what I have DONE, but: forgive what I have NOT DONE!!!

  • Love this tune!

  • does iTunes have this song? I cant seem to find it!

  • oh what an amazing song

    great video...

  • good song...great video

  • fantastic song

  • My life has been altered.

  • i know exactly what you mean

  • Einstein was talking about the universe. One of his follow ups to that was that "God does not roll dice." In this of course he was talking about the atomic field and Heisenberg's uncertainty principle.

Darwin was an Anglican priest until way later in life and he stepped down because his daughter died, not because of his theory of evolution.

Most of the other people that you named there aren't atheists but more of agnostics.

  • this song is exactly like country feedback by REM. the melody is a tad bit different, but on the whole it is the same.

  • REM took this song,

  • all of the songs on this V2music channel are copies.

  • This

    is SUCH a great song.

  • The notion of deliverance is what keeps Christianity afloat. It's the one substantive thing evangelicals have to sell. Too bad that it's actual occurrence is so rare. Except in the movies and in music videos for songs that should know better.

  • The notion of deliverance is what Christianity is and what separates it from other spiritually dead religions that are little more than a procession of mindless rituals which few actually understand. And the actual rebirth that's depicted in this video isn't rare at all, in fact I've seen it happen many times in the past few months alone.

Soulsavers made an astounding video here. It's easily one of the most moving videos i've seen since the Hurt video.

  • actually, Christianity, and many other monotheistic religions, rely on fear to stay afloat. the fear of hell that is.... and they also make people feel like they owe something, in some way.

mindless rituals? that IS christianity. most of it doesn't make sense. that's why the vast majority of the educated elite are more likely to be atheists or agnostics.

  • Again, Christianity enforces the notion of deliverance from the current or being "saved". Hell is referenced, but not the focal point. Protestantism has hardly any mindless rituals, in fact the only ritual that regularly takes place is communion, which is described several times throughout the Bible.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." -Einstein

Not many people can study science without a little faith, I know this from first hand experience.

  • That's one of the most misused Einstein quotes. "The idea of a personal God is quite alien to me and seems even naive." --Albert Einstein

Einstein, Sagan, Thomas Jefferson, Douglas Adams, Stephen Hawking, Darwin, Ralph Waldo Emerson.... not all scientists, but considered to be some of the most brilliant men in history. all atheists. UCLA did a study: vast majority of professors (doctorate holders) are "spiritual," but are atheists.

    try again buddy.

  • Also, why would you think that people who spend most of their time reading the Shakespearean literature in the King James aren't intelligent? Do you realize how much more complex that is than everything else in today's culture?

    Also

  • Newton, DesCartes, Kepler, Mendel, Planck and Bacon. All are the founders of modern day science and they where all fanatically religious. To most of these people science was not so much a battle to attach meaning to independent variables and call it nature, but more to create a better understanding of God and how he works.

  • Goodness! Someone understands! Thankyou thankyou THANKYOU!

  • I'm so sorry. I'm a big fan of Lanegan. But this song is a copy of country feedback, REM. Same chords , same rythm, same all.

  • i tried out those chords on acoustic - yep they work!

  • Omg that's true!!!
