I was so into this anime as a child...I was about 8. :-) However, I only got to see the splice that was released to us in the U.S. : Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousand Years. Still, I really like it and this brings back fun memories.

There was a poor english version of MYIA entitled Vengeance of the Space Pirate where an english version is sung in several places. Family Home Entertainment, now thankfully deceased, was responsible for it.

@Kaiwynn Lotsa people are very very anti dub. Sadly, it's prevelant in most fandoms, but honestly, I own both the English and Japanese, and I love them both. I, although, do love Makio Inoue, the only voice of Harlock in my book. I sadly do not own the english version of this song, but I do have a LOT of the soundtrack if you're interested, simply email me with 'Harlock Soundtrack in the title.

If you haven't found it by now, I used audio hijack to rip it directly from the avi I have, it would also work if you had the dvd. Hope that helped
