I saw P.E., EPMD, Salt and Pepa, Run DMC and Jazzy Jeff at Louisville Gardens back in the day. I think my buddy and I were the only white guys in attendance, but it was all good. Man this stuff brings back some memories. BTW, this is when rap was the bomb! This new shit is just that!
I remember when they played Brixton in the 80's - the atmosphere outside & inside was like nothing before or since. Their presence & power is stunning. Truly - don't make them like this anymore! Cold medina man, cold medina!!
Any live performance of 'Rebel Without a Pause' deserves a better crowd than this^. Could there be a more non-receptive audience for such a monster track?
What really pisses me off is that Public Enemy is now becoming more relevant these days. Public Enemy is my favorite music group but it terrifies me that race relations are heading south. We have only gotten worse and switched the hate to Mexicans. Just recently an asshole thought I wasn't a citizen of this country. I have never left America for more than two days and it should be an immediate give away that I'm an American citizen when you meet me. What a retard.
I remember hearing this song at the LQ in New York and losing my mind, never any shit like that before, to this day it still leaves me with chills. PE4EVER
I love how Public Enemy have gathered a fan-base of metal heads. Shows that we do indeed have something in common. It's all in the spirit of rebellion I imagine.
And 1 bball shorts, cut comfy tee, new sweat bands, backwards lid, with fresh whites for the bball kicks, with fresh socks and a lil weight for a chain round the neck.....easy saturday night watching boxing or live hiphop show....atire for either or i suppose...Terminator X!!
@SamWolvesFc Dude they toured here either this year or last, I forget exactly when. I saw them for the third time in Kentish Town about six yeas ago. First saw them in Glasgow in '92 when I was fifteen. My and a mate skived school so we could get there in time (we lived in Perth at the time) My first ever gig and the best! Nothing and I mean nothing has beaten that experience and I've seen many from Rammstein to Eddie Vedder. They will be back in the UK - don't think, just go!
Terminator X was in a bad motorcycle accident and decided to retire, but Chuck keeps his name in the group. He did a song with them on the album they did with PARIS. DJ LORD is the shit.

Dude just check my channel, I'm a metalhead and listen to deathcore and all that shit but oldskool Hip Hop, I mean REAL Black Music, like Public Enemy or Wu Tang are tha shit :D
Great song (my favorite by PE), great performance, but it's too bad they chose to rap over the album track. They could have at least created an instrumental so the vocal delivery could have been fresh and a bit different, and it could have allowed Flave to improvise instead of doing EVERYthing word for word. Still a great performance with a badass intro.
@michalwasiak Depends what hip hop you are listening to mate, theres a shitload of great hip-hop bands worth checking out. Try the Stones Throw label, or Def Jux label. Underground Hip-Hop website is worth a look. Dont Give Up San
