not so good when it comes 2 cameras but does 60i means 60 fps? and i it not means that, can this camera record 60 fps and if this camera cant record 60 fps xD can the panasonic hdc tm 300 film 60 fps?
Excellent motion Test. You have helped me decide between the Canon HF S10 and the Panasonic HDC-HS300 HD Camcorders. I'm going with the Canon HF S10, why??? B/c clearly you can see that the colors are more sharp and vivid if you look closely at the color wheel and the black and white wheel. The clarity is crisp. It all comes down to the optics and hands down the Canon wins. Even though the Panny has cool features, but lacks the optics. Go Canon!!!
I was being facetious, as I'm disappointted that so little of the programming is in FULL hd on TV. My 62" dlp gives me a perfect picture in hd,but whenthey use the old cameras the picture is unacceptical as compared with the picture on my old TV''s
yup. i always film in full 1080p and then render it to 720p. I'm not 100% sure if that yields any higher quality but logically better input is better output.
Also a fellow tells me that most of the sports in HD is in fact 720p.
I tried sending some old video to U-tube as HD and the res. didn't come out any better. So I can upload old videos handly now in 480 res.. Go to my site and see for yourself.
I think to have more accurate results you should upload original (mts in this situation) without any editing files on all your tests.

What software did you export this video from? I uploaded a 1920x1080 video and youtube recognized it as HD, but not as 720/1080p option.

But half full-HD isn't really 960 x 540. That's quarter of Full-HD. Half Full-HD is actually about 1358 x 764 which is > 1280 x 720 :)

You don't understand. Old cameras were made to fit resolution sizes during their time (640x480). 1920x1080 is a HUGE difference compared to that.

are you telling me that all full HD videos are resized to half full 720p HD to be displayed on U-tube?

Yes, my software tells me to do just that.
