  • When your calls are being intercepted. You will get an advanced warning that an incoming call is on it's way. Usually this is more provalent when your asleep. Hidden voices, messages, or codes are contained within the warning. The warning can be up to one second long

  • Omg, cops use this to intercept my phone calls. Thugs. I hate em now that i know them 1st hand. they are highly manipulative group of dirty ppl.

  • Backup a little here, - when I signed up for my cellphone - GSM tmobile in 1999, I remember seeing a private key or something on the paperwork so aren't all GSM calls secure?? You are telling me that there are systems to crack these RSA keys? I was under the impression that for the FBI to monitor a call they have to get the key from the Cellphone provider ???

  • Yes, ALL cellular and telco calls are intercepted whether it be passive, active, or through the network switch provider. It's "Exigent Communications" under the CALEA act.

  • The Kc+Ki+SRES keys does not have to be provided from the network switch provider, it can be generated automatically.

  • The USRP alone can not intecept GSM calls. In requires software, RF Front End, and A/5.1 cracking for most service providers. This is a specialized ACTIVE GSM-based Cellular Interceptor system. SecureGSM does not use normal interconnect voice, it uses CSD like a modem to digitize voice back and forth. However, advanced interceptors can detect such activity.

  • Thanks for the comment. I belive that advanced intereceptor will detect activity but no chance forthe signal being decrypted. brute forcing tripple encryption is kind of hopeless exercise. :)

  • Agreed! SecureGSM makes most GSM cellular interceptors worthless in CSD-enabled service providers. Overall, SecureGSM is a GREAT product. for that particular purpose. :)

  • I would like to know what software and hardware he is using to intercept that call. Can anyone please shed any light on this? Thanks

  • Simply, the Active GSM interceptor was not designed to detect CSD transmissions which is what SecureGSM uses. However, this can be detected and a directional finder can find the mobile subscribers.

  • Simply - USPR board

  • SecureGSM: One last comment, I heard your interview with SMMOBILE ?....MAN that was THE WORST interview ever....the content was great, questions was great, you were great...but the dude interviewing you had NO EXPERIENCE with basic podcasting.....terrible audio, no enunciation, limited english skills, it felt like someone was poking my brain with a steel fork.

  • pueden interseptar un numero telefonico ustedes cobran o como trabajan?

  • in theory couldn't the new Ki's / Keys be intercepted and cracked as well. The A1/5 A3 and A8 Algorithms are easy enough to crack there are tons of papers out there on it but what algorithm do you use for your Secure GSM?

  • Obviously they aren't gonna tell you the algorithm, but it may be based one more than just an algorithm.

  • The Algorithm has already been cracked, it's been public for years now. One of my favorite papers is Elad Pinhas Barkan's research thesis "Cryptanalysis of Ciphers and Protocols" out of the Israel Institute of Technology. It was produced in March of '06 and he/they weren't the first to crack it but still one of the better papers on it.

  • this is not a "bull"... It appears that you are not quite sure about what is the SecureGSM is all about and what is GSM interceptor is.

SecureGSM Software is identified as an export controlled item under Australian Export Laws and is listed in THE DEFENCE AND STRATEGIC GOODS LIST PURSUANT TO THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901, CUSTOMS (PROHIBITED EXPORTS) REGULATION 13E(1).

you can learn about the product at the official website: w w w dot securegsm dot com

  • I like the product. And I think its great that you have dominated this "Niche" market as you are literally the only vendor. I have two comments. First comment is that: Don't you think it would be BETTER for your company if you eventually release the source code to the public ? Because then all the techies/hackers/crackers will spend countless hours breaking/playing with the code and eventually improving it since they themselves want to use it....benefiting all of us and mostly your company!

  • how did u intercept the call?

  • SecureGSM the best!
