Is it waterproof or rainproof? I want to use it on a sailboat it doesnt have to be waterproof (like submerged) but I hope it can work in rainy weather..How long is the 12v charge lead?

i got mine from walmart today for 70 bucks. the walmart i went to had them hanging on the same shelf with the car batteries. this thing is super bright. i lit up the cellphone tower with it that just down the street from me.

I had hoped to find this at a black friday sale, but it wasn't on sale anywhere. I got the stanley 5 watt led spotlight  for $20 instead (still super bright). Hopefully I find a deal on one of these one day.

Dang bright light.  If you get one that's been sitting in inventory for too long the lead-acid battery can be weak.

I love the fact that it does what it says on the box. basically it is a SPOT light. Most so called Spot lights tend not to focus a spot of light, instead they usually disperse the light. Very nice item.

i have the stanley sl5w09 which is the led light thats right below that one and its crazy bright....maybe i'll get that one when i get the chance
